Jesus, I don't even know what genre Fallout is to begin with. It'd make an interesting series of samurai movies, though. Like the Zatoichi flicks or the Usagi Yojimbo comics, only with less blind guys and honorable rabbits and more short orphaned Korean girls.
Knox and The Question's canon both beg to be recreated as noir films. Knox would be at home in some Hollywood B movie about a reporter, and Charlie in a darker, French-made tale of tragedy and corruption.
Too obvious to say that Star Trek should get back to its roots as a Western - the pitch for the show was actually "Wagon Train in space," referring to a Western that was indeed similar to Trek.
Teen Titans should be reborn as an edgy all-out anime, where Cy is much more of an angsty mecha.
Captain America: The First Avenger needs to be a musical. Sort of like Mel Brooks Meets Stan Lee.
I actually have Sims for Dick, Wally and Roy. (And Kori, Donna, Barbara, Cheshire, Lian, Connor Hawke, Jason Todd, Karen Starr. Also Ollie, Dinah, Clark, Lois, Bruce, Jim, Hal, John and Guy.)
You will be unsurprised to know that Dick keeps sleeping with people.
Fantastic Four would make an awesome Kaiju film franchise or perhaps a Kirosawa style SciFi.
X-Men First Class I'm tempted to make an 80's TV action Drama like A-Team.
PS238 would have to be a Disney sitcom; after all the adults are basically useless already.
I like nocarename's idea for Young Justice but Beast Boy would have to be the expansion pack, Neighborhood Invasion or something.
Palamedes I'll have to steal yaklskovich's idea and go with an opera.
Thalia and the PJ&tO crew will be a musical.
And sine I just reapp'ed her with the same app (slightly updated) from her previous successful application, Jessica Drew would have to be a murder mystery or a spy thriller.

.... oh God it's maybe a hair away from being a sentai show. It's totally a sentai show, it just needs more reused footage a la Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Actually the Marvel Mangaverse did make them into a sentai team if I remember right. Ben became Benjamin (pronounced ben-ya-min) and was a woman. They wore these exo-suits that allowed them to control specific elements, Benjamin's of course being earth and she would make a giant Earth golem to fight the Kaiju Hulk. It was pretty awesome.
There was a lot of internet yelling about the time skip that expansion brought in and how they extrapolated out from the saved games. /sending from a universe where I spend more time with video games, also on where the game exists.
Aw...thanks. I think she'll be more active as I intend to focus on her super spy-ness and ignore Avengers canon (which was bugging me before). Hawkeye? What Hawkeye?
Merlin needs to be a sitcom. Cue laugh track every time Merlin almost gets caught using magic, or uses magic in front of Arthur and Arthur doesn't notice.
Hmmm, Gielinorian history seems a bit Silmarillion-ish with all the important events highlighted and the day to day details ignored while the game setting is almost the exact opposite (save for the geography), ie. the everyday boring details of [INSERT ADVENTURER HERE].
To recast it as another genre I would have to know more about the story the game devs are trying to tell. They just spilled the beans yesterday that the main story is THE GODS HAVE ABANDONED YOU (but this one obviously missed the memo) BUT THEY ARE COMING BACK FOR SOME REASON (no doubt this one will try to start another war between them somehow. Maybe they'll start shit all on their own, who knows).
Plus, it wouldn't hurt if I were more genre savvy. >_>
The major events of the Third Age were presented as a turn based strategy game instead of a grindy mmo, though.
Ray Carling - flickedmethevs - Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes: A Horror/Thriller.
Lily Bell - maidenofthewest - Hell on Wheels: Sci-Fi industrial revolution, with a dash of Murder Mystery.
Zoë Washburne - someonetocarryyou - Firefly/Serenity: What genres are left? *eyes space-cowboy-ninja*
Regina Mills - happilyneverafter - Once Upon a Time: A Romantic Comedy.
[ I totally admit some of these are lolwat, but they're all fics I would read the hell out of. Quaritch is the sheriff of Hell's Gate, and Grace is Clint Eastwood! HOW COULD THIS GO WRONG? ]
Yes. Not kidding. Also, the most insane love triangle ever; severely dysfunctional family members; tragic diseases and/or crippling accidents; people coming back from the dead (in ghost form at least); and let's not forget the dream sequences.
Harry Potter: Upstairs, Downstairs or Downton Abbey-style. (Particularly if the House of Black or another pureblood family was in the middle of the action.) You know you'd love it.

I'm not sorry.
I'd love to see Nightlife as episodic mysteries instead of action/horror/punk.
I keep wanting to change mediums instead of genres, drat it.

Actually...now that I look at my canons I'd like to add M. Night's name to that list.

Tavi: Steampunk. Although I hear that if Butcher ever does a sequel, that IS what he'll be doing. So maybe Dune-esque space fantasy?

Brisco's such a mish-mosh of genres that I'm not sure what it could be transformed into.
Psych as a sci fi drama where the monsters are real.
MLP as a Court procedural?
