Eight years ago tonight, I threw a wrestleman into this place. I may have closed my eyes sometimes (a lot lately, in fact), but I've never actually looked back.
My brainmeats, in answer to my seeking a way to put it in perspective, ask: How many of the other pupple who had EPs (or even OOMs) that day are still around?
Kassandra: Gone (rode to heaven with our first Sirius on the back of his motorbike), hasn't been replaced.
Crowley: Pretty sure he's still around, in the same way my lot are technically still around. (Can anyone confirm or refute in comments, please?)
Ber'd: Hasn't been heard from in a yonk or two; pretty sure he's gone.
Dream: Recently returned under new munagement, yay!
Hob Gadling: Gone (I forget how; refer to the "Music" blank from now on unless I give parenthetical specifics).
Tim Hunter: Moved on.
Brian: Gone (eaten by the house, as I recall).
Aziraphale: Like Crowley, still technically around, I'm sure.
Todd Bowden: Gone (back to his canon to meet the fate that awaited him there).
Richard Mayhew: Gone.
Dizzy Flores/Arioch: Gone.
James Potter: That one's gone, but we've got a new one.
Penny Lane: Gone.
Horatio Hornblower: Gone.
Alan(na) of Trebond: Reset in the Allpocalypse.
John Constantine: Still available for occasional small jobs, I think.
Queen Beruthiel's cat: Gone.
Raphael: Still hangin' in there.
Thom of Trebond: Haven't seen him lately; probably gone.
disobedientgirl (not sure who this was): Gone, I assume. LJ purged, anyway.
Tonks: Gone.
Mother Rose: Gone. LJ purged.
Gabriel van Helsing: Gone.
Roger of Conte: Gone.
Fighter McWarrior: Gone.
Adam Young: I think he's still around.
Tom Riddle: Still nominally around.
mittens_kitty: Gone. LJ purged.
Mary Poppins: Haven't seen her about recently.
Pippin Galadriel Moonchild Pepper: Gone.
Paul Morlock: Gone.
Death of the Endless: Still around, I believe.
Seifer Almasy: Gone.
George Lass: Gone.
Snow White (Fables): Haven't seen her around lately.
Dark Helmet: Gone.
Maedhros: Gone.
John Crichton: Gone.
Meg Giry: Gone.
Regulus Black: Replaced.
And that's not counting the ones who tagged into other people's EPs (as Desire into Reg's) but didn't have their own on that day. So, all in all, a near-complete rollover.
