. . . And thus concludes my RPing for Snow White as continuity acknowledges as being in issue #26. I'm going to do a bit of research and begging as pertaining to The main problem is that Snow's relationship with Bigby has now changed drastically. A brief summary of thier romance(spoiler-ridden, of course):

HOMELANDS, NONDESCRIPT MOUNTAIN PASS
Bigby: Woof. I'm a big bad wolf who would probably eat you all, but I'd rather piss off the adversary by letting you live.
Snow(among group of now-rescued prisoners):Thanks! Can you show us the way to the mundane world, where the Adversary will not follow?
Bigby:*snifs, smiles* Sure!
200 YEARS LATER, CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS
Snow: Good wolf, please join us at our new settlement. We'll let you walk in human form and give you a job as sheriff.
Bigby:*sniffs in recognition* Okey-dokey.
200 YEARS LATER, NEW YORK
Bigby: Snow, come with me to this upcoming dance. I, uh, need your help to solve your sister's murder.
Snow:Okay.*dresses up extra-nice*
LATER
Snow: Hey, how did me being your date help the investigation?
Bigby: Um, I just needed an excuse to ask you out.
Snow: Well, quit it.
STILL LATER
*Snow is off visiting the farm, where Bigby can't go*
Prophetic Knight: Hey, there's gonna be trouble with Snow up at the farm!
Bigby: Oh, Shit. *organizes rescue party*
MONTHS LATER, HOSPITAL
Snow:*regains conciousness after being shot*
Bigby: Yay! You're awake!*is overprotective for several months*
Snow: Okay, I can walk under my own power now, gimmie some space.
Bigby: *sigh* all right.
Bluebeard: *after administering mind-control potion to both* Go camping in the woods and ignore Goldilocks.
LATER
Snow:Bigby, why the hell are we in the woods?
LATER
Bigby: . . . So, anyway, Snow, I'm madly in love with you and have been since the first moment I sniffed your scent.
Snow:*is freaked*
Goldie:*tries to kill them*
LATER
Snow:Ya know, Bigby, we worked pretty well together out there. And hey, if you try asking me out later . . .directly . . .and we take things slow . . .I won't run away screaming.
Bigby:Yay!
LATER, AFTER SNOW HAS A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT
Snow:BIGBY YOU SOB, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME WE HAD SEX WHILE UNDER MIND CONTROL?
Bigby: I'm gonna be a daddy?
Snow: Look, this is big and I need some space.
Bigby: Okay, but I still wanna be part of this cub's life.
Snow: . . . all right, but give me some time to think about it.
*topic is avoided entirely due to other extreme events for next seven issues, only recognized in rapidly-growing stomach*

. . . which is where I was when I came here. I figured, hey, Snow needs some time to think, so why not have her take a vacation at Milliway's? And she might want to take even more time off after giving birth, so she could move in with Door . . . But now, with the latest issue, Bigby and Snow are at a point that makes my inner shipper squee with joy but complicates things as far as the bar goes. Snow can't just leave Bigby out of things now. I gotta do some research on childbirth and get caught up after an unplanned vacation. If I could talk someone into playing Bigby, that would work excellently. I wouldn't want to impose on anyone here, since most people already have thier hands full with however many journals they might be juggling.

This brings me to another point, which is: What is the proper way to try and drag in new Milliway's members from a fandom-specific message board to suit your devious needs(that is, to get a character from your fandom to show up for specific interaction)?

*averts eyes from spoiler*

Hi. :)

So, I was debating making/transplanting a Fables character simply because it's the freshest thing in my mind, the latest thing I've read... Well, that and there are some other characters from the same story/universe. I was planning to postpone making a character and jumping feet-first in this RP community; just waiting to get a feel for it before joining. It's kind of a lot to take in all at once. :) But if you're willing to lend me some proofreading/canon help (you're more up to date on the series than I), I'd be willing to give it a whirl. Which character(s) were you aiming for?

Alternatively, if you aren't feeling "adventurous" :) (No worries, I won't mind), I'd say just put up a post on the message board in question detailing what Milliway's is about. I'm sure you'll attract some people's interest off the board if there are enough people on it. You may even want to list a few good points about adding more Fables to the Milliway's community and establishing a presence for Fables fans. Getting a specific character may be tougher. Most people have favourites or play the same kind of character most of the time. Not sure if you can find someone there who is either likely to pick the character(s) you want, or willing to try juggling one or more like I am.

Whatever you do, do me a favour and don't get shot through the brainpan. I nearly gripped my copy of the story a bit too hard there. :) Luck!

Well, I admit, the setting and premise is what intrigues me for RP purposes. Perhaps not within the community, but I prefer to stick to canon as much as possible. Admittedly, I've never really written fanfic or anything of this kind of nature, but it bugs me when reading other people's that it doesn't jive with the obvious. Some things are open to interpretation or have enough grayness to allow some leeway, but if it clearly contradicts something, I find that jarring. Oh, I must've missed something along the line somewhere... the flood of posts in both Milliways communities makes it very easy to not spot stuff. Actually, I may need more help with Milliways than Fables, upon reflection. :) Would you mind pointing out what else you've posted (if you can still find them)? You're quite right... Bigby is very much one of the central characters, so no doubt somebody out there would snag him, assuming you could find enough interested parties (statistically speaking). Thing is, I don't think you can avoid the spamming sensation... even if it cropped up in casual conversation, you'd be limited in audience whereas if you post an advertisement (which is essentially what it would be, you're raising awareness and plugging Milliways), well, all ads have potential spam-like qualities. Admittedly, playing both would be kind of like talking to yourself. Yeah, I know you're ok now, but I don't like seeing you get hurt. Anyhow, say the word and I'm your man. Wolf. Whatever. :) I do feel obligated to warn you that I hadn't been planning to join the community this soon, so my posting might be intermittent or slow. I had been waiting for my schedule to clear up a bunch.

I know, it's not fanfic. But it has similarities, in my mind. Dissonance with the character core concepts and the way someone portrays it is still easily possible. See, the problem is, I don't even know what posts there are, aside from the obvious ones stored in your LJ. I guess all I truly need is anything you've put similar to the spoiler above regarding what you are looking for or what you are doing at Milliways. Well, it's intermittent or slow compared to most people here, that's for sure. The sheer volume of postage... I can't keep up with reading it. I usually manage e-mail notifications fairly well, often while doing other stuff, but it is a legitimate concern about me being able to achieve this. If I just don't happen to be online at the same time as yourself, it might not hit "rapid-fire" level. On the other hand, if you ask for me to be on at specific times, that I can coordinate to work out. I can cram into my schedule somewhere, I'm sure. :) If you feel it best to go with someone else, as I said earlier, I'll understand. If you want, I can give it a try and if you find the first few attempts too problematic, I'll turn over the role to someone else. I'm willing to go along with what you think best here.

Oh, incidentally, your "Fables: Snow White/Bigby in forty lines or less!" amuses me. :)

Excellent summary of the Snow/Bigby dynamic! The hug . . . *squee*
