It's the Love At First Sight Meme!

Here's the long and short: your pup happens to see someone else's character and falls head-over-heels in love with them (by wicked effective magic). Your pup, ever the romantic, decides to write them a letter confessing the depths of their love.

Toss up your pups list, then wander around to other people's lists. BRING OUT YOUR SAP AND MAYHEM. BRING IT OUT, I SAY.

If you're at a loss for a reference, here's the original posting. Letters can be as short or long as you want.

For added fun, have the recipients respond! Thread it out as you see fit, though if it becomes family-unfriendly you'll have to take it to a journal.
