"Ah. I don't think I've threaded with her. I play Waco Kid more than anybody else, I suppose."

He swirls his glass and takes a drink. "Hasn't been much of a day for me, either."

"Yeah, I've seen him around. Gotta say, though, Young Frankenstein's more my speed." Blazing Saddles is pretty good and all, but the ending...
"How bad's yours? If you wanna get into it."

"Just been a rough semester. The depression issue I had in my freshman year of undergrad is back. Apathy, thoughts about suicide. I'm wondering if maybe law school isn't what I should be doing. Today I decided to take a leave of absence for the rest of the semester so I can sort this out first."

"Oof. My sympathies. And good luck sorting it out."
She means it, even with all the tired and cranky and 'why are cars.'
