So Sunday is nearly half over here on the US's West Coast and I hoping our East Coast friends are doing okay. This also means it's time for you to show your awesome!

Urquhart kidnapped Charles Xavier for the Slenderman plot. Otherwise, I was having fun with Poins: finishing the slowtimed thread with Pyrrha!Loki with great squick (yay go Pyrrha!!), then he went and was confused by Teresa, then met some fairies, and finally accepted Atlantean from Yrael and dropped to the floor.

I've not done much RPing this week, apart from Yrael meeting Poins and giving him Atlantean, as Maru linked.

BUT! I did carve a kickass pumpkin last night. I am inordinately proud. ^________^

Another slow week for me in the RPG department. I did finish up a slowtime with Hank and Raven and play with Monroe a bit in sandboxes.

I do have plans next week for Hank to look for Charles so maybe next Sunday I'll have something more to say.

a) That pic is entirely too cute - I haven't seen the latest (2, omg wtf such a slacker) Grimms, so is there any hope that Monroe really does give out sweets? 'Cause, dude, SO CUTE.

(also, why oh why don't we have a Monroe?)

b) I can has an Oregon apartment.

c) And an Oregon vet license.

d) and maybe even a moving company to get my crap up there.

I'm behind on my Grimm as well but if Tumblr is to be believed, Monroe is BIG TIME into Halloween, like it's almost as big as Christmas. Like he would seriously be tweeked at the Slender Man for ruining the holiday were he in Milliways. He would be all >:(

Okay to a certain aesthetic but folks need to be themselves and have some fun too. If they're just mindless minions, they're not enjoying the fun.

⦻⦻⦻⦻ HELP ME ⦻⦻⦻⦻

This week has been full for me with RP and life stuff. Today I bought decorations for my library, signed up for gas and electric for my new apartment. Tomorrow after school, I'll sign the lease, I still have to figure out renter's insurance and cable as well as changing address. Thanks to my move in July, I know how to do all that, but I don't know when my stuff will get out here due to Sandy. Still by next month, I will be in my own apartment. I'm also just finishing up a librarian blog post about work, which makes me happy.

RP has been lots of Slendy stuff mainly with Charles but a few others came into it. As Maru mentioned, he was kidnapped and before that Red tried to help, after he'd been in Sariel's dream. That dream is one of my favorites that I've done for this plot with the imagery and disjointedness. The Splinter thread is still ongoing and wonderful, I love that one.

Other Slender stuff is locked but there is some amazing plot going on.

Sameth is in the process of meeting a faerie. This is such a great EP.

Over in the sandboxes, Charles and Bryce are working out together and not quite talking. Sameth is talking to Ysgrave, a glassworker and they're being dorks about making things.

I did this thing with Fi, before Urq kidnapped Charles.

I also did this thing as groundwork for Claudia's CWDP this year (aaaand I used the excuse to make Phyllis part of Millicanon as well as my headcanon), which I have about half-written. I may post Red's tonight, just to have it up in time.

Latest weather projections have the worst of the Frankenstorm scooting around Quinn and I, so there's that. Still with the wind and rain, though. I may or may not end up losing power; we'll see what happens.

I took a break from unpacking this weekend and went to the Mountaineer Days Craft Fair at WVU with my beautiful and talented girlfriend. We bought Christmas gifts for family and ate funnel cake. It wasn't the State Fair of Texas (which is our usual October social outing), but it was nice. Currently, I am casting a gimlet eye on the grey skies and damp that Sandy has brought to Morgantown, waiting for Winter to attack.

Also, I have a callback interview on Tuesday, so yay!

I finally wrote an OOM for Jack for the Slendy plot! (With bonus whitetext!)

Obviously I need to have a bath more often because good ideas happen there.

I was mostly on a Leela jag this week. Most of it was Slendyplot stuff.

She encountered Ol' No Eyes at the beginning of the week. Then she began having nightmares. She was in the gathering thread and is at present participating in the final stages of the plot. She also had some coffee and discussed Slendy (among other things) with Ellen.

In other news, Kane finally finished a not-quite OOM with Tanya that started a few months ago. Hell, I was still in Italy when that one started. Though it hasn't been posted in Bar yet. (Warning for adult content on that one, BTW).

Two threads still ongoing! I have super enjoyed Harry getting love advice from Jack Half-a-Prayer, and Harry and Coyote just generally giving each other grief.

Also, I applied to grad school on Thursday. So that's a thing that finally happened!
