Also, there was Sunshine and Moriarty meeting and discussing grannies, baked produce, murder and different worlds. Also, making bets. I had so much fun with that thread.
I broke 17,000 words on my NaNovel and think I may have figured out a decent way to move forward with the plot finally! It's kind of the literary equivalent of putting the characters on the road and then poking them with sharp sticks until they move, and I suspect the words "We have no choice" are going to feature prominently in the next section, but AT LEAST THINGS ARE MOVING.
I am living in my apartment! I've unpacked my kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All the books lie ahead of me as well as various rearranging and actually getting cable and internet set up, but those are all very doable. I love it so much guys and a huge weight has lifted off of me. Plans that had been quietly in the back of my mind are now bubbling forward and going, yes, let's do this.
RPwise, I haven't done a huge amount as I don't have net at my place. I'm working on some Slenderman follow up with Charles in OOMland.
William had an EP and was kind of confused by Poins. He also checked in with Ako and with Ellen. One of my favorite parts of their friendship is how safe ground is Brahmin.
So far my favorite thread of the week is Will and the other Olivia. I adore that she calls him Marlowe boy and their discussion of worlds and tears.
My Yuletide is going really well, I'm almost at 600 words and the plot's just started going.
Oh and one other kind of silly and awesome thing. I went to the school play last night which was wonderful and a student said "your library" to me. It was in a joke about eating in the library but he called it "your library", I don't think I've heard anyone else in the school refer to it that way. Its possible I just haven't heard it but it felt amazing.
Okay, so then, this week Alfred hosted a Bonfire night party down by the lake, Erik Selvig met Bruce Banner, and came away with more questions than he had when he first saw him. Jack began to move through the Gulf War and Bean began to change the world with his first baby steps into politics. (Sort of). His first baby steps into military tactics happen soon.
And in RL? I continued to learn to scuba dive, There was a power cut that left all power at uni down, and cancelled lectures on Wednesday, except I went for a bunch of other lectures that got moved location, and were relevant to my project, and I began to analyse data for my project.
Also, I have about half a dozen oom ideas forming/formed in my head. I should get some of these written down, but y'all so awesome at threads it's hard!
I didn't have much in Milliways this week, although we've got some OOMery under way for the Half-Life crowd that should be going up soon. It's been kind of a tough week; I only got hot water back a few days ago.
On the other hand I got hit by nostalgia and dropped a headvoice from 2007- Hektor of Troy, hippodamio- in the sandboxes. I'm pretty pleased with how Hektor's threads have been going in mixed_muses and PFSB; I missed that man.
Her OOMs already got a shout-out earlier this week, but after I posted them, I also EP'd an Olivia who's been brainwashed by the Other Side into thinking she's alt!Olivia. She's currently chatting with Charlie McGee, Will Scarlett, Bucky Barnes, and our totally phenomenal OMG Nick Fury. (Seriously, people can attest to the noises I made when he tagged in. Fury-mun, you are awesome.)
It's not done yet, but Red's got an OOM thread going with Charles in which she is actually voicing some of the things she's needed to learn about herself. SO PROUD OF MY GIRL, YOU GUYS.
In RL news, I was up for 22 hours on election day sign-holding! The guy we were sign-holding for ultimately lost (it was a close race, and he got trounced in the towns that didn't know him as well), but it was still a fun day. We had a lovely conversation with the opposing-party sign-holders at the first place, and I helped run in a curbside ballot (apparently those are a thing) for someone.
In writerly news, my Yuletide is rolling right along. And the best kind of challenge since I can't fall back on my usual writing style. Ad patently ridiculous, but that's entirely in keeping with the fandom. So glad I offered this, you guys have no idea.
And I am the opposite of bodldops. All my UNPACKING is done. And I start my new job on Wednesday. Now, to finish the Mother of All OOMs. Damn you, Nolan, and your frickin' infodump.
I apped for Alex again! I finally decided how to keep playing him (namely, by having him make the decision that he's in too much danger in his world and needs to find a new home. Which will be sad, especially because he'll miss Sabina and Tom and especially Jack, but his canon point is a place where he'd attempted to cut ties anyway so).

And I want to thank everyone who tagged that EP. Every thread was so much fun. <3333

Extra bonus fun was rereading old Ava-Andrew with Batya and noting that they've come a lllllong way.
