I didn't do much RP wise, but I did go out last night and drink handcrafted beer at a new microbrewery in town - it's in an old warehouse just outside of downtown, with a tiny taproom.

They have beer with jalapeno flavor.

It was awesome.

I edited a 72,000 word novel in 30 days. Less than that, really, since I slacked a lot at the beginning of the month.

And I put thekidfrombrooklyn through his ouchiest part of canon and came out alive on the other side. That, my children, was not easy in any way.

I mostly kept slows moving along as all my threads end up there eventually. I am trying my best to keep them alive this time and not fade.

I also seem to have picked up a hobbit head voice, one Belladonna Took, but I don't know when/if she'll be official as I'm trying to keep my pups to a manageable level not the full 10.

I brought Gibbs back after far too long an absence - the DE on Friday reminded me how much fun he was to play - and promptly met a fellow traveler on the wrong side of the law. (Gibbs is still open to tags!)

And I started working with our Christmas ghosts. Wacky fun ahead!

I kept up with slow times in the KP post! (And am finishing it out, so.)

I think that qualifies as indulgence for the week.

Once I have the brain to write it, Steve's amazing post plus the OOM plus the depressing and informative book I'm reading about death in the Civil War has inspired a dream OOM for William involving casualty lists.

Finally finished a slowtime: Oswin and Moriarty and the science of deduction, plus/minus some rampaging war elephants. I don't even know.

Olivia finally made it home. She's still got at least an OOM's worth of fallout to go, but for all intents and purposes? Boom. Plot's done. >:D And I did it in just over a month WHAT THE HELL.

(That OOM also officially marks the start of Olivia going AU...or, if you prefer, splitting off into a third universe completely separate from the two presented in canon. *cheerful* Maybe I'll call it the Greenverse.)

Claudia attempted to help Steve process things - it didn't go well - and finally submitted her Slenderman report, because I like doing her case reports on Milliweird.

Otherwise that's pretty much it, though I did start a second Yuletide treat after stalling out on the first. It's coming along nicely.

This has been a fairly quiet week for me with work and RP, the nice part is my parents came to visit on Thursday. Friday, I showed them the library as it was filling up with the Friday crowd, today we went to the DIA and tonight there will be delicious dinner and home stuff. Life is good and I've finally got a good start on my shopping.

Sameth got a project from Elle and had an interesting talk. The conversation with Dinah was enjoyable as they shared interests and odd worlds.

William met Hektor, there was confusion but they got along. After finding out about Bucky's death, he got an OOM as I had an idea.

In his PFSB EP, Charles talked to Leichtenstein, a ghost Joker, brilliant thread, Hank McCoy. Then in other EPs, spoke to M, which went badly, but great thread and Jim Moriarty, strange and wonderful thread. Then in his Mixed Muses EP, he talked to Nick, a thief, Fry Sandhu and Thurlow.

I dropped Maggie, Tommy's sister, into the test-drive meme, where she's getting along nicely with Clementine. No surprise there. She is really fun to play, almost scarily so, but I don't think I'll be apping her to Milliways. She'll stick around for the sandboxes, though. Feel free to throw your pup at a shouty, boozy broad while she's here.

Speaking of Clem, just wrapped up some Tommy/Clem smut from way back when (this predates his time with Kate -- he isn't cheating on her!)

Hmm... And then there's Tommy and Hotspur, which is really delighting me to no end.

I finished a bunch of OOMs with loads and loads of writing...

I still need to post the EP that goes hand-in-hand with the last of the OOMs, but I think that's going to have to wait until next week, because this week is all systems go to get handing my project proposal in on Friday.

As a consequence, I may well not be online much this week, as I do my best to actually focus on writing words that matter to my degree...

I'll do my best to keep up with tags in in-progress slows, though.

I got a little sidetracked this week, since it was the final week of the City of Heroes MMORPG. It was a bit emotional on Friday.

Not me, because my computer is a weak thing that can't run any semi-modern game, but there's a forum or two I'm a quiet part of that is picking at duplicating power sets and costumes over on Champions and saving their character files in case someone can figure out how to piece a private server together.

Always sad to see something people are invested in collapse like that.

The most notable thing to happen Milli-wise for me in the past week is the already-mentioned Tuco/Gibbs thread. Meanwhile, over in the Test Drive thread, a certain Imperial spymaster by the name of Caius Cosades is being taken out for a preliminary spin. The most notable thread is with Belladonna, who at this point he's still convinced is a half-Bosmer of some sort.
