Daily Entertainment: Jack's Got Nothing

'fore I crash, your DE from [personal profile] sdelmonte:

What does your pup find aesthetically pleasing? Art, food, fashion, alien lifeforms, whatever.

Knox is a mild foodie. Art escapes him, and Gotham is such an ugly city that it's hard to have any sense of style after a way. But he can appreciate a good meal.

Kirk's got really no aesthetic sense at all. Starfleet training can do that to someone, even if he sees alien worlds all the time. He does, however, appreciate the beauty of nature from its grandest to its smallest scales.

Howard likes the Impressionists. He's not sure yet about Picasso and the other greats of his day, but he gets Monet. I wonder if, after the war, he'll make a stop in Paris to shop for art. He also knows how to dress with style, though men's fashions in the 40s are very limited. This puts him ahead of all my other pups, though.

Could say more about my other pups but the day looks to be busy. But I had to tag in since it's my idea, yesno?

Tommy: The female form. A Scorsese film. A well-executed slap shot. A favorite t-shirt. Leather and indigo denim.

Lou: A cheap cigar. Michelle Pfeiffer. Shiny motorcycles. Flat, crisp bacon. Cake.
death_gone_mad: Ammit, with a heart in her mouth, running away from Anubis and Thoth (Stolen Hearts)

Amascut appreciates broken pottery. Well, broken things in general, except for broken spirits. Efficiently executed assassinations and slayings are nice, as well as the physiques of people (for a wide definition of people) who have trained for such things. She also finds herself aesthetically pleasing, of course.

Mike: Yes. The answer is just yes. He's kind of a hedonist that way.

Raph: He's a simple guy, with a relatively simple aesthetic. Fancy food doesn't impress him, but a steak cooked well will.

Splinter: Likes peace, harmony, well brewed tea, Renaissance Art and really trashy day-time television.

Bumi: Wine, women, and song for the most part. Eat, drink, and be merry because tomorrow I'm going to kick your ass.

Ida and the Loompas: Anything that isn't you.
saphyria: (Tea makes evil people smile)

Sunshine's aesthetic sense is all over the place. Most visual art doesn't do much for her, and music doesn't much get her attention unless it's someone she knows playing or singing it. But show her anything made with love and skill, whether it's food-related, mechanical, or otherwise, and she likes it. She also appreciates the beauty of nature - especially in spring and early summer. Solitude. Quiet. The fragrant steam rising from a cup of tea. The smells of baking things. A bright morning.

Yrael takes pleasure in music. It doesn't even have to be perfect, so long as it's meant and felt. He appreciates strong personalities, but doesn't pay much attention to the physical appearance of people or things. He loves warmth, physical contact, and comfort, but also takes pleasure in being challenged, in exploration and in gaining new knowledge. Also, a well-arranged plate of sushi. :3
death_fangirl: Trying on a hat and grinning enormously because of the hat. (amazing hat)

Aradia likes dead things, old things, and sweet archaeologist hats.

Clementine is a hippie born in the wrong era with a touch of 80's glam. In short, she lives in the past. and she likes men with tight buns and dreamy eyes.

Dixie: loves French antiques, apparently, And her taste is generally very good and very tasteful.

Juliet: classic aesthetic with a tad of rock and roll.

Pinkie: will pop your eyes out with her sense of taste, man. She's outrageous as all heck.
