It seems unlikely to me that Aradia can swim, because the Alternian ocean will straight up murder you. Also there's no indication that she lives anywhere near a body of water. But, on the other hand, that's a fairly basic survival skill if you ever go near the water, so perhaps she picked it up through schoolfeeding.
