Snowball fight, anyone?

I was just chatting on Twitter with ceitfianna and chanter_greenie because Chanter had the idea of a snowball fight, and we other two were all, 'Oooh yes please'.

So, would anybody like a snowball fight party post today, or would another day/night be better?

Any takers? Opinions? Suggestions?


ETA: Doing this tomorrow (Thursday) in my evening, AKA afternoon-to-evening for the Americans.

Yeah, work is so far beyond nutty and into panicked for end of the year projects.

Oh, are people discovering that astonishingly enough, there is Christmas in December, and then the year is over?

My old slavery did that, with great flailing, every year.

That and more, people take time off around this time of year as well.

Why are so many people at work idiots?

At least I am lucky -- the last idiot at my work leaves tomorrow, never to return. The rest is all sensible people -- with interesting flaws, of course, but people one can work with.

Well in my case I can blame too many cooks in the kitchen as I work in a big corporation and each department only thinks of itself. More directly in my department, it's similar as all the artist used to be on one team and reporting to one manager, but they restructured and now we're split between four teams and four managers yet still do each others work as needed. Thus if one team lets their artists take vacations at the same time, the other teams get to pick up the slack. Only problem is the other team shave their own projects.

I never worked for a big corporation, but I can quite see why I wouldn't want to, either...

Now you're asking! erm, anytime? I have no commitments this week until Christmas. Then I have a customary tour of England to see all my extended family, which takes me out until new years eve.

So, this week is probably better for me.

I'll see what other people say -- I might do it today, tomorrow, or on Thursday. On Friday I leave for Christmas visits as well.

This is unrelated to the question about doing one today, because my next several days are going to be pretty crowded so I'm out anyway. But I totally vote for a couple of random snowball fights scattered throughout the Milliways winter, so various characters can participate. Because: snowball fight!

Oh, that's a great idea -- we can have them once a month in the next two or there...

I love this idea a lot and without too much planning, snowball fights can happen when they happen. That way anyone who wants one can start one.

Right! I was definitely thinking more "Hey, it's been a while, I'll have my character start something!" than "Oh, looks like it's the third Wednesday of the month again." And a snowy free-got-all shouldn't require much coordination.

Really.

Staff holiday party, and my reputation from a previous party that I once sang karaoke is behind a plot by everyone who wasn't here then to make me sing.

Then perhaps tomorrow? I don't have to work on Thursday, so if I put up the post tomorrow, I can throw all the snowballs...
