Somewhat overdue Back Room post!

I should perhaps have put this up before... Although some of you seem to have already got the idea! So, whoops, and all that - being on holiday with somewhat inconstant internets and general RLness does these things to me.

Anyway, as of this post from the 13th, snow has officially fallen outside (I have no idea whether or not the Caribbean inlet can have snow in it?) and with it has come the Snow Leopard Woman.

What does this mean for your pup? Well, she's something of an environmental protector, so if your pup drops litter or similarly destroys the place Beref is liable to show up and be grumpy about it. More importantly, however, she is generally a calming presence unless she intends otherwise, so you may wish to have your pup be slightly happier or more relaxed if they venture outside. (If you don't want that to happen, of course, just assume that their emotions are too strong to be noticeably affected by the general ambiance, or that it doesn't work without Beref's immediate presence. It's all good!) If she's about, your pup will hear singing or music just on the edge of their hearing when they venture outside; of course, she may not actually be about, so that is again up to you.

The snow will stay until some time in January. The Snow Leopard Woman may leave with it, or may stick around. We shall see.

In the meantime, her entrance post remains open, or she'll get another EP when I get home! She promises not to bite. :D

What's her canon?

Wakhi mythology combined with a children's book called The Snow Leopard by Jacquie Morris, which is loosely based on that mythology.

Yes, definitely. She'll read very similarly to Coyote, Raven and the others like them.

I'm also kind of torn as to whether or not the Caribbean Inlet can have snow.

Things I'm thinking are awesome:

- Palm Trees with snow on them
- The whole Caribbean area being like the opposite of a snow globe, in that it falls on some invisible/intangible dome on the outside, but never sticks in the interior.
- It's not actual snow, but the stuff they use in Hollywood when they want to make it look like snow.

C entertains me hugely and will cause CONFUSION. Which is always fun!

On the other hand, B will give Bruce Banner a headache (Molly bet him he couldn't figure out the physics of the bar) and I am thoroughly okay with my pups getting into a tradition of finding ways to give Bruce headaches. XD

Now that's emotional blackmail! And tempting. Hank is likely my best pup for this as Val will just shrug and go "different universe, different rules" since she's been to realities with odd physics and can do magic herself.

When she's a snow leopard, she looks like a snow leopard. When she's a woman, she looks like a woman in a leopard-print fur dress-coat. And so on.
