Balthazar: Will probably have something either deeply deeply snarky or at least somewhat wise to say. Maybe even both, if he's feeling inspired. Assuming he gets a chance, Morganians can be so rude during wizards battles.

Haymitch: Wants to know 'what friends?', and probably wouldn't say anything anyway.

McCoy: Would be either arguing with whoever-it-is or would be trying to reassure them that this really isn't the end of the world, he's an old man and eventually this sort of thing happens to all old men.
