DE: Jack, I'm Flying!
And it would help to post to the backroom and not my personal journal....
All my writing lately seems to be gloomy, so today's daily is an attempt to counter that.
Your pup has landed in Neverland and needs to fly, like right now! What is their happy thought? If they can already fly, let's pretend they can't unless they have a happy thought, different rules and all that.

If for some reason this doesn't work because he needs to think of something that brings him true, deep-down, everlasting happiness it would
still be titshave to be about his wife and kids.no subject

Max would think of Doris.
Alfred would remember a time before Mr and Mrs Wayne were murdered. He would no doubt remember that they're dead and come crashing down, at some time that would be most comical/awkward/annoying. Alternatively, he'd think about Bruce coming home. That's probably a better one at the moment.
Erik would now remember Thor, and what people can do if they dare. (Thanks, Jane :D )
For Jack, it would be spending time with his mother, with no possibility of being interrupted by his father.

Jinora's would be her family
and possibly her romance novels.Dani's happy thoughts would be, in order, Enzo, Danny, Jazz, her folks and remembering the day that then Fentons accepted her as a member.
Munch's happy thought is
his first wife Gwenfig milkshakes.no subject
Jess has two; saving the woman who would become her best friend from her fall off the Golden Gate Bridge and that same friend showing up in Madripoor to save her years later.
Andrea has her graduation from the academy of the Order fo Merciful Aid and her return visit to the bouda pack she grew up in. Yeah, the second one really doesn't work for Neverland, but oh well. ;p
Hank's would be Raven's smile when she was amazed by his mutation.

D0G: Playing fetch.
Twilight: Her Ponyville friends.
Vanellope: Finally being able to race.
Luna: Gives me a funny look and points out that she has wings.

Adrian's got the moment when he first saw his momma alive again after Black Mesa.
Hektor's got any number of happy thoughts he can call on; most of them have to do with horses. So far, anyway.
I am not looking into Medic's psyche to see what an easily accessible happy thought is like for that man. Ghaaa.
Varric has any number of possibilities, but I think he'd be most likely to say the first time he got a thank you from a very appreciative female fan of one of his epic romances. Yes, he writes them canonically, they just don't come up in Bar much.
Ray has more than a few possibilities as well. Let's go with either the movie moment of "IsawitIsawitIsawit!!" or the Bar moment of "I AM HOME FROM BEING STUCK IN GARION'S WORLD FOR A RIDICULOUS NUMBER OF YEARS YAY TECHNOLOGY!".

In the words of George Takei...Oh, My.
When I get my threading muse back, Andrea will have to meet Varric for the sole purpose of discovering his epic romance writing. IN canon, she's a big fan of pirate themed romance novels. Though now that I think about it, she'll love his crossbow too.

Charles: Erik, Iris, Raven, Hank, not being alone as a mutant
Sameth: Being Wallmaker, the feel of the Charter
Jane: Cassandra, her father's trust in her, her words
William: Mark is healthy, that the ledger's into the black
Moist: The open road and how clever he is
Demeter: Kore, creation
Tumnus: Narnia is free, Lucy as his friend
The Pirate King: His ship, his men, who he is

(Oh god, now I'm envisioning Porthos finding pixie dust in the lost and found box.)

And, um, maybe the Bar can help with her more painful aspects of canon?

Drop me an e-mail, or catch me on AIM when it isn't being all wonky on me. I'm always good for a good canon flail and plotting session. :D

Mordin, I think, is going to be thinking of his thesis defense (probably at the tender age of ten, knowing him). Possibly something involving his favorite nephew.
And Ellen... Sheriff Simms offering her the keys to what used to be Mr. Burke's house and telling her to consider herself a Megaton citizen. Elder Lyons offering to circumvent the usual recruitment procedures and give her a full Knight's rank and membership in the Brotherhood of Steel. Scribe Younes saying "We read you, unidentified signal source", because it meant they'd successfully made contact with Elliott on the alien ship. Recognizing Scribe Cancio's schematics for his replica of Jingwei's shocksword, for her...

Clare: Teresa. Anything Teresa-related that isn't her death. Probably just one of the quiet happy times when they were hanging out, when Teresa put her hand on Clare's head or she fell asleep on Teresa's lap or whatever.
River: just flying would do it. Or thinking about dancing.
Regan: there are any number of happy moments from her kids' childhoods to draw on. Or the day she graduated from college or grad school, or riding her then-favorite horse around a jump course, or her wedding day.
Trowa: is refusing to tell, on general principles that it's no one's business. (There are various choices, all just quiet content moments with his sister/boyfriend/friends/lions. He's just a control freak who thinks emotions are need-to-know.)

Knox: Rapunzel, and the Mets winning a World Series. (Replace Rapunzel with Batya, and you have me. And the Mets will win another one someday!)
Howard: See under Kirk.
Gibbs: Rum
Charlie: The one time he went flying with Sallie at Cubefall.
Cyborg: Also see under Kirk. Never realized I have three people who know how to pilot planes/spaceships.

Raph is easy, he just has to think about Abigail.
Splinter would probably think about Sallie, or of a moment from his younger years watching his children grow up.
If Bumi wasn't thinking about his family, then it would probably be the ocean itself. Standing atop the bow while the ship runs at full steam is one of his favorite things to do. And aside from actually being on a bison, is the closest he gets to flying.
Ida has thrusters of her own, so she has no need for happy thoughts. Which is really for the best.
The Loompas think about the day they escaped from the factory.
Aang would need to think about flying, or possibly Katara.
Mike...is the hard one at the moment. Sad as it sounds, my ever-the-optimist is running a bit short on happy thoughts.

Tavi: Kitai. His son.
Lois: The moment she finds Chloe alive and well. Later, it'll be her first published article, and getting hired to and then first front page at the Planet. Later those are joined by ones with Clark in one persona or another, and eventually of flying with him. Actually, just the thought of being able to fly with him under her own power would be ridiculously exciting.

Meanwhile, Lucas and Lohengrin have both staked out their little corners of misery. If pressed, Lucas will probably think about Milliways and all of his friends here. Lohengrin is currently doomed to fly exactly the way a brick doesn't.

Autor only has one thought at any given time, happy or otherwise: Drosselmeyer. He's essentially skipped puberty researching the man's power of story spinning. If someone handed Autor the ability, he'd be flying without suspicious magic dusts.

Borgel - Classical music, Melvin, traveling through time, space, and the Other.
Leela - Perhaps she would think of traveling with the Doctor. But I think she derives greater happiness from the thrill of the hunt.
Kane - WORLD DOMINATION! Also, Tiberium.
(He's very single-minded in his goals).
Caius - I'm not sure, actually. Perhaps he'd think of the hills and plains of Cyrodil.
And, among the recently-apped:
Garyn - As a child, gathering roots and flowers at the base of the wall of the Imperial City.

Aradia, on the other hand, is incredibly easy to answer for. She would be thinking about her return from the dead. It's the first time she ever felt truly alive, and it came after a long spell of first feeling nothing and then mostly just feeling murderous rage and little else.
