Alex and I wrapped not one but TWO slowtimes! Both of which we started in the fall. Er... :DDD

1) Lady Mary Crawley and Captain Elizabeth Turner. They have more in common than one might expect, though Lady Mary will never have to keep Matthew's heart in a chest. We hope.

2) Carol Danvers and Alan(na) of Trebond. They continue to amuse each other. A lot.

Also in finished slowtimes, Mary went to Aphrodite's party and quickly zeroed on the on one entirely inappropriate but very finely dressed Barman.

Poins continues being great fun. He had several threads this week, but the best one was the continued conversation with Loki. Loki is giving him Ideas. In fact, there is a slightly cryptic line in canon that would so totally be explained by those Ideas...

Sweet heavens, that conversation! I expect great things from it.

The only lines which come to my mind are the threats of "transformation" (read: mutilation) by the Welshwomen or this one, which is more metaphorical:

"And pluck up drowned honour by the locks;
So he that doth redeem her thence might wear
Without corrival, all her dignities:
But out upon this half-faced fellowship!"

Now I have to know to which line you're referring; educate me! <3

Much more prosaic. The odd 'Must I marry thy sister?' exchange between Hal and Poins.

Oh, how funny. I'd always thought that was Falstaff telling Hal that he and Poins were too close, but a transformation spell makes that passage hilarious. I'm so looking forward to this.

It is, but it's still a tad cryptic -- why his sister? Who is Poins' sister? Why is she suddenly mentioned? In any case, Loki's transformation spell might mean that Poins' presumed sister they talk about is transformed!Poins himself, a thing that Hal knows and Falstaff doesn't...

If that ever comes to pass, would you guest-OOM a Falstaff for us? Because you clearly know your way around.

This last week has been weird for me as I didn't work Monday to Wednesday and then worked the last two days of the week. What that meant is that I got a lot of writing done and some RP. My big project has been putting together a semester status report for my school and it just went through a big edit and I feel happy about it. I've also been doing more decorating of my apartment, it feels nice to finally have more things on the walls.

I've also done a lot of writing for the Porn Battle. I'm going to just copy and paste the links I had on my journal for that. I have four stories, most of them new fandoms and pairings for me. The Hades/Persephone one has explicit sex as does the Red/Claudia, Eponine/Enjolras has a kiss and Raj/Quentin has heavy petting. All links lead to Archive of our Own.

Charles caught up with Raven, and met M.

William met Clint Barton, talked with Guppy, Darius and reconnected with Bill Pardy.

Tumnus had an EP and talked with Nick Fury.

Will talked hunting with Adrian Shephard and spoke with Harry Percy, I love this thread. The way Harry and Will recognize things about each other and how Harry brings out the peasant and the outlaw in Will.

Jane met up with Alice.

Also, project stuffs for my final year project are coming on and argh deadlines are now scarily soon!

In RP-land, Max had a EP which started a week ago, and was pimped on Wednesday. Also, I did a bunch of Bean OOMs.

Asides from that, I've started several threads, mostly with Alfred.

I actually RPed! This is significant, okay.

Trowa Barton is meeting Clint Barton, which amuses me deeply even though it's still very much in progress. Ex-circus ex-soldier government sharpshooter meets ex-soldier circus clown!

Regan is talking to Hotspur again, also still in progress, and as usual her general sentiment is an affectionate OH KIDDO.

Clare and Ambriel are being painfully earnest BFFs at each other again. Also in progress. Currently Ambriel is explaining the existence of chocolate pie.

And, what I'm most proud of! I finally managed to put up some more Thor OOMs! More will follow in the next couple of days, and then he will finally be through canon for real and back in the bar. I can't wait.
