It's February! And as all the drugstores have been telling us since shortly after Christmas, that means Valentine's Day is coming!

You know what's coming on the Alternian calendar instead, and by stunning coincidence will, er, coincide with February 14th? Caliginoctis, that heartwarming holiday when you make that little bit of extra effort to let your kismesis know how much you truly hate them. Send poisoned candy or allergenic flowers, play a cruel prank, sabotage that crucial plan, or just take a moment to pen a truly sincere hate letter and have it hand-delivered with the requisite accompanying gesture.

Or, if you're at Milliways this year ... send a card! The waitrats will be happy, if seriously weirded out, to deliver it for you. (Of course, pranks and sabotage and hate letters are also fair game. Just remember, the No Violence rule is still in effect.)

But wait, you say; how is my character supposed to find out about this troll holiday? Well, that's where you're in luck (if that is the word): Nepeta will be posting something on the bulletin board and/or on a T-Minus memo, probably sometime this weekend, and will be around to answer IC questions.

There are so many ways this could go badly, I love it. Especially is the fact that on Valentine's Day, I have to get a work review, I'm all about distractions.
