A Milliversary and a question
First, I finally remembered my Milliversary! It's actually next week technically but 5 years ago a very confused Emperor Norton entered the Bar and made me fall in love with all you crazy people. I've gone through a lot of pups since then but Norton still haunts my brain so I think I may through him up in a sandbox on the 19th just for old times sake. Thanks to all of you for putting up with me as I learned how to handle this form of RPG and relearned my grammar.
Now the question. In Andrea's canon there is a device called an M-Scan, which basically functions like a spectrograph, noting different types of magic by color. With Andrea in bar, I need to decide how Milliways would scan as she's not about to leave evidence of a magic bar that kidnaps people laying about. In other words, if the bar scans, she's going to be careful about bringing things to and from the bar.
Has anything like this come up? If so how what was decided? I am inclined to have Milliways' magic be out of spectrum but since the could help or limit others I thought I would ask. I can just as easily say the out of spectrum only effects her world.
ETA: I guess a more accurat question would be, has there been any indication as to the source of Milliway's magic? Is it divine, wizard-like or something completely different.

I guess a more accurat question would be, has there been any indication as to the source of Milliway's magic? Is it divine, wizard-like or something completely different. I'm leaning towards something completely different but hesitate to decide that incase it has been defined before. And the vague threat of god-moding is there too.

The Lake area is Harry Potter Brandtm magic at a base level, with a mixture of Belar'style magic, Jack in the Green magic, and The Dreaming...whatever that is, Pirates of the Caribbean voodoo...among other things.
But the Bar itself...is quite literally everything. As the garage is with fictional modes of transportation, so is the bar itself with magic. To steal a definition from the Ragu pasta sauce: It's in there.
Go with "something completely different." It's safer. ;)

I just realized my 6th was the end of this month, again, too (and how it's happening right smack dab in the middle of the weekend I'm stealing Laura and Gabby for an all out rodeo experience, which just seems so amusing kismet-like, since this trip has been in the planning for a year and I totally didn't realize the date match-up until last week).

I always thought of Milliways has being generally polluted by magic from across the universes. A Discworld wizard brings her staff in, and leaves an octarine trail in the ether around her. Hogwarts Wizards fire charms around and leave their mark. Creatures that need magic to survive leave fingerprints, much like humans leave dust and grime around after them as well.
There's probably an underlying "Milliways" magic from the Landlord, but most of the actual weird stuff comes from a specific universal source, often brought in by a patron. Because that's what the IC community is: it's been pieced together by a community of patrons over the years.

Found it and it doesn't cancel it as much as it swallows it.

But yeah, I think that unless she's interacting with something specific, the scanner will probably get confused and spew out a null result.

Covering only those of mine that have powers at all:
UniverseContinuum pups would register dark blue.Ryûk might register the red of undeath or the white of divinity, depending how literally you take the label shinigami. Replace the white with the light blue of the divinely empowered and the same applies to Rukia. (Possibly they'd be striped.)
