And Andrea has left the notice for the Paintball game. She also sent a note to Security to warn them of impending shenanigans.

Do we want Bar to magic unlimited ammo for the guns or worry about reloading? I'm inclined to go with unlimited ammo.

ETA: And the post is up! Also, I am spinning it so that Bar offers each person the option of an unlimited ammo feed when you get your gun.

ETAA: I had assumed we'd have few enough that it would be each person for themselves. Do we want to to teams though? I think we have enough to field two teams of 3-4 or we could pair off. Red vs. Blue?

I admit to having been entertained by mental images of Clare just... standing in the middle of the field, blinking with impassive confusion at all the humans shooting paint around. I dunno that I'll actually put her in (or have time to do so), but I'm still amused.

And now I wonder about Andrea's reaction to not one but two dead and very powerful "things" showing up. Likely her training would kick in which could be fun in its own way, though I am not sure how much she'd pick up beyond dead and powerful magic.

For the record, only Teresa is dead! (Although there's other weirdness about Clare, depending on what Andrea'd pick up; she's only a quarter demon instead of half, so she's weaker, but that quarter comes from taking in Teresa's half-demon flesh and powers.)

In any case, I'm totally up for playing with this, if you like, although I don't know Andrea's canon and how exactly her senses work.

Ah, ok. Well Andrea would likely sense magic much the way we can sometimes feel strong electrical fields, although it occurs to me that there is a reference to them smelling magic at least once. Mostly she has heightened senses compared to most human so she'd smell Teresa being dead.

The training I referred to if that she is trained to protect humans from magic creatures.

ETA: THis might all be moot, as Andrea is purposefully dulling her sense of smell to even the odds for the other players.

Hee! This sounds amazing, but I think Autor would have to be dragged outside, and I'm not sure what he'd do once out there (aside from being a very confuzzled target).

I know Andrea might raise an eyebrow at the kid but since this is paintball, she'll let him join in. She'll also gladly eat her doubts later when he proves himself. = ]

are we doing 'capture the flag', elimination or Last Man Standing for the scenario.

...otherwise i've got a playbook of paintball scenarios that would be cooked up by a ten-year with way too much weird in his life.

Andrea has no idea. I think she's just playing it by ear assuming a timed thing with no real goal in mind. Perhaps future games can be had when she learns more about the sport? Or Tyler can suggest something? I'll tag him now.
