The subtitle has nothing to do with today's entertainment, I've just been listening to Jessie J like nonstop after I saw this one vid of Toph with it.
(I'm a sucker for dance-pop, what can I say.)
Anyway.
Does your character have any tattoos/piercings/scars or similar body markings? If so, when/how/where did they get them? Do they represent anything particularly significant or meaningful to your character?

John: He's got some scars from where a grizzly clawed his face up. Depending on which fangirl you ask, this just makes him hotter. In-game, it's purely cosmetic, but it does serve to make him look more seasoned. (Occasionally during combat he'll say "I didn't get these scars fallin' over in church!")
Mako: Nooooope. Boy's vanilla as they come. Even if Korra might drool over any tats of his.
Voodoo: Fuck, if I listed everything he had, we'd be here all day. Or at least for a couple paragraphs. Suffice to say he sees the sum total of it all as an impromptu service record.

Charles doesn't have any scars or discerning marks as he hasn't ever been in that much danger. Mental scars, yes, but nothing physical.
Sameth has a Charter Mark on his forehead, burned handprints on his wrists, scarring on the inside of his thighs and a scar from a sword on one of his thighs.
William doesn't have any major scars but he has lots of smaller ones, because he tends to get into fights and his world is dangerous.
Moist has small scars that aren't terribly noticeable around his wrist and ankles from helping to train dogs as a boy.
Demeter is a goddess and so doesn't scar though she does have pierced ears.
Jane has a few small little scars from doing chores and being an active woman but nothing large and pierced ears.
Tumnus doesn't have any scars as being turned to stone by the White Witch doesn't leave any sign behind.
The Pirate King doesn't have anything big but in my headcanon, he has some tattoos like something to do with being pirate king somewhere on him.

To Helena they are a reminder that you never back down in the face of evil, no matter what the personal cost: you stand your ground.

Trowa has a very old burn scar on the back of his neck; he's had it since he was a toddler, so it's pretty well faded. He also has a fair number of other tiny scars scattered around -- little cuts and burns from working with heavy machinery and weaponry since he was a kid -- but nothing major or really notable. No tattoos or piercings, either.
Clare has a mark on her stomach somewhere from the process of making her from a human into a part-demon. We know that this is conspicuous and looks both gross and like it hurts, although it doesn't; every human who sees a Claymore's stomach in canon reacts pretty strongly. But we haven't yet seen exactly what it is.
She doesn't have any other scars. She used to have some.
River has some scars, most notably fine surgical scars under her hair. (And, you know, on her brain.) They're significant, but not voluntary or decorative! She doesn't really have any others -- maybe a childhood scrape here or there, but nothing big, and any later injuries she's gotten magically healed because River is a-okay with that kind of cheating. She had pierced ears, but I think the holes may have closed up over the past several years of her never wearing earrings. She wouldn't be theoretically opposed to a tattoo, but has never particularly thought about it, and I don't know that the process of getting one would be much fun for someone with as many traumatic needle-associations as she has.
Regan has pierced ears and the ordinary kinds of minor scars you get as a human with normal healing powers -- a childhood scrape on her knee, that kind of stuff.
Uzura is a puppet toddler. So, er, no.

(Relatedly, Fakir has an enormous purple birthmark from his shoulder to his waist, marking the place where the Raven tore Lohengrin in half.)

The other is on the inside of his left forearm, starting from his wrist to halfway up to his elbow. There are two stories behind this, and since it's the more visible scar, he'll tell you different stories behind it depending on who you are. One version is that he'd punched through a window with his bare hand to save an elderly lady. The other version is that he'd punched through a glass door while horsing around with his brother when they were kids. I'm going to guess that the second version is the truth because he has admitted that he lies about his scars to impress chicks. (Btw, this is a real scar -- I've seen it with me own eyes! And the second story is true.)
Then there's the bite marks on his ass from when Dug attacked him in Kate Barlow's room. Actually, Tommy had referred to a scar on his ass later in canon but never explained its origins. Now we know. Thank you, Millicanon.

Shephard: More of his scars are on his limbs, as the PCV the HECU Marines wore didn't exactly have sleeves or leg coverage and he himself makes a point of wearing his helmet and his gas mask. The glaring exception is the line of scarring that goes across his forehead and through parts of his hair, from where he got badly bitten by a venomous black headcrab after passing his helmet and mask off to Alyx and the Chell Johnson he knows. He's also missing his right arm below the elbow; it's been replaced by a magical prosthetic made of silver, thanks to the Fair Folk of Elysium in Kreyu's world, but because people look at you weird when your arm reminds them of Destro, he usually wears an elbow-length glove over it. He also has a tattoo of a Marine Corps bulldog on his left upper arm, where it can be hidden by a T-shirt.
Medic: Has his blood type and several other important pieces of medical information tattooed on his upper left shoulder blade, between the shoulder and the vertebra prominens. You know. Just in case.
Hektor: Probably a fair bunch of scars but I have no clue where they are; they weren't particularly epically got, so it's not worth fussing over.
Ray: Used to have a bite scar from a doubled dental arcade in his right calf muscle, from going to Andrew Wells' world to help fight the demons assaulting the place as of the end of "Angel", but if time hasn't faded that away, the brief period he spent in the Men in Black universe where Winston ran the show as Agent Zedd means that pretty much all his identifying marks acquired after the age of eighteen were removed. (That universe's bureau records all the marks and scars the agents had before joining up so that they can put 'em all back if the agent has to be neuralyzed and sent back into the civilian population.)
Varric's not talkin'. I am inclined to believe that his nose got broken in a barfight once, rather than anything memorable.
Mordin: Got some fun marks on his face from his time in Special Tasks Group; the cross-shaped scar and his broken horn are from a botched mission to Tuchanka, the krogan homeworld. He was stabbing a krogan through the eye with a pitchfork at the time to keep him from broadcasting an alarm. He's also got a leaf-shaped tattoo on his forehead, which I have millicanoned as being something akin to a fraternity emblem for a particularly competitive academic fraternity among salarians.
Santo: I haven't seen any in the movies I've watched so far, and since he spends most of Santo vs. the Martian Invasion running around in his mask and his Spandex pants I'm going to assume he hasn't got any to show.
Ellen: Confession time: Ellen tends to wind up being my counter-trope character more often than not in a lot of areas, usually after reading the Escher Girls tumblr and getting disgusted with the way artists handle fightin' Asian women. Since it took her ages to find a viable helmet, and her early suits of combat armor covered torso and legs but not most of the arms, she's got some really nasty scars from mirelurk attacks and feral ghouls and such, mostly on her right side (her left forearm was protected by the Pip-Boy) and face. There are a few notches in one of her ears from where she got jumped in a metro tunnel by a raider with a knife; she won that fight quickly, but that ear's not ever going to be factory spec again. Burn mark on her right cheek from an incredibly close incident with a laser weapon, too. These days she's wearing power armor and a full face helmet almost every time she goes out, or the Chinese stealth suit with its headpiece down, so she's not acquiring new scars so much any more. The Beauty Is Never Tarnished trope can go bleep itself, kthx.

Ellen does her best never to ever think of those, but if she ever does wind up getting married she's going to make a point of showing her medical records to the lucky guy well in advance so that the scarring doesn't take him completely by surprise at a very awkward moment.

Otherwise, Mia has a pair of standard ear piercings.

Yrael's appearance - bone-pale skin, stark white hair and green eyes - are essentially scars from his millenia-long imprisonment. He can change his physical form to anything he might want, but his coloration he cannot change. When in catshape, the skin around his neck shows where his collar was, under the fur.
Sunshine has no tattoos, but has pierced ears, has a ward set into her skin that occasionally glimmers faintly, looking like a web of tiny pinpricks of light, and a growing collection of scars. The most noticeable is the curved knife scar (the only one of her scars made by a weapon), located below her collarbone on the left side of her chest. She had been cut to make her bleed and be more appetizing to the vampire in the room, but the wound turned out to be poisoned and had to be healed by experimental blood-magic. >_>
The other most noticeable scar is the thin burn scar looping her neck like a long necklace. She got it during the climax of her canon, though she's not sure how. It wasn't just caused by the very fine chain she was wearing around her neck - due to some magic she doesn't yet understand the scar is the necklace she was wearing. The necklace/scar is the token that allows her to find Constantine's earth-place.
The rest of her scars are varied in age and intensity, scattered across her shoulders, upper chest, back, and arms, and take the appearance of scrapes, tears, and one bite.

Andrea has two scars, one on her back and a ring around her left bicep. The scar on her back is from the torture all knights must undergo to prove their oath of loyalty and she had to have mixed silver into the wound to make it scar as the Lyc-V heals without scaring otherwise. The ring on her arm is from a ring of silver she had imbedded to pass the Lyc-V test the Order administered after her partner went loupe and attacked her. She also had to inject liquid silver into the arm to kill off any Lyc-V for the blood sample and nearly lost her arm in the process. She chose her left arm as she tends to shot better with her right. Ain't canon fun?
None of my other pups have scars, tattoos or piercings.

Claudia never got her ears pierced, doesn't see the point in piercing anything else, and has no plans of getting a tattoo at this time (what would she even want for that long?). As for scars, if she has any they're not of the particularly adventurous sort.
Apollo laughs at the very idea.
Imp might have some scars of the 'everyday nicks and cuts' variety, but that'd be it.
Regulus will be giving his canonical tattoo a miss, thank you very much. I think he does have a few scars from cuts he's patched up over the years; he can charm them clotted, but he can't so much transfigure the scar tissue back to what it was.
Red's scars, at this point, are entirely in the 'everyday nicks and cuts' category. She was born a werewolf, not bitten; her grandmother's the one with the EPIC BITE SCAR. As time goes on she might pick up a few more in the course of defending her friends. Piercing of much of anything isn't really a concept in the Enchanted Forest, I don't think, and the only way to get a tattoo is through magic, soooooo no.
(Ruby might have pierced ears; I can't say I've ever looked for the evidence. And the only reason she didn't get a tattoo is because Storybrooke's a bit lacking in the tattoo-parlor department.)

IBar turns her human). Felix has pretty much continual access to magical healing which (at least in my headcanon) doesn't leave scars; Kain might be the same way, although I could see him brushing off the white mages who are trying to put his arm back together or something similar, so he could have scars. Come to think of it, it's just possible Kain might have had the Dragoon emblem (probably something similar to the shape of his helmet) tattooed on his chest.no subject
Max and Erik both have bumps and grazes, but no major scars. Neither of them has any tattoos or piercings either.
Bean has had a few scrapes, but nothing major. And he's too young for tattoos or piercings to be an option.
Jack hasn't had any tattoos. He might get one when he's completed his first full contract for the regiment. He's got a few scars, though. It comes from doing his job.

Listing his other scars would take too long.
Mike only has the newly healed bullet wound from the Slenderman plot. Not bad for someone who's been Barman as long as him.
Aang has traditional Air Nomad Master tattoos. A blue arrow that starts at his forehead, arches over the top of his head and down his spine until his hips where it branches into two arrows that curve along his legs ending at the tops of his feet. Then there's one on each arm starting at his underarm and ending on the backs of both hands.
At some point later he'll have a scar on his back and on the sole of one foot from the lightning incident.
Bumi Has a rather sizable back piece of ink. In the Yin position is a realistic cresting wave with the circle insert being the traditional Three Swirl symbol for the Air Nomads. In the Yang position is a bright blue arrow, with a circle insert of the traditional stylized Water Tribe symbol.
It was a gift to himself when he rose to the rank of Captain, a position he considered the equivalent of Master.
Ida does not have "Property of O2STK" tattoo'd on her ass.

That...probably could have gone without saying, but...heh, I said it anyway.

(Spoiler: it was Racetrack.)
There's, um, also a ton of scarring on what's left of his right leg, for obvious reasons.
Olivia used to have a tattoo on the back of her neck, thanks to the Other Side trying to remake her into Alt!Olivia. It's since been removed. Scars...she probably has a couple of minor childhood ones, and some less minor ones she will never, ever talk about with anyone.
The Trickster can shift to look like anyone, including as many tattoos and scars as he pleases. In his default state, though, he doesn't bother. Why mess with perfection, y'know? :D
And I'm sure Bolin has some childhood scars in a couple places, but nothing too serious. Being an earthbender gives you all sorts of new and exciting ways to scrape up your knees (and elbows, and hands, and everything). No tattoos, though. They're not his thing.

Tattoos: She has a butterfly with branches and leaves across her lower back and a dragonfly just under her right hipbone below her panty line.
Piercings: Her tongue and nipples. The upper cartilage of her right ear along with the cartilage right in front of her ear. Oddly enough, she only has one piercing through each of her earlobes.

Asami's activities as a child were much more likely to result in cuts and bruises than the sorts of things peers of her social class did, particularly between hanging out in places with a lot of heavy machinery and taking intense self-defense lessons when she was tiny, so she does have a couple of small scars resulting from that. But she doesn't have any tattoos, and... I don't know if ear-piercing is a thing in Avatarworld. There's no reason why it wouldn't be, but I can't off the top of my head think of a character wearing earrings, except for maybe the pirates.
Leslie has a scar... somewhere from a childhood ice skating accident. She has typical pierced ears, but no tattoos.
Manny has none of the above because he doesn't have skin. You can still get tattoos, though - but the procedure looks really unpleasant.
Marceline seems like someone who would have tattoos, but I wouldn't want to settle on anything. But as she can shapeshift, she can have any piercings she wants at any given time. As she heals immediately, she doesn't have any scars.

Physically, at least. Amascut is a big ol' mental scar that likes pretending it's a scar on reality itself. Which picks itself and never lets itself heal.

Joan got it because she went through a period where she was "addicted to not sleeping" and one sleep-deprived night decided that getting a tattoo of a dolphin saying Wazzzup on her ankle was a good idea. She hates it but won't get it lasered off because she occasionally uses it to prove a point.
