Andrea got more canon push to set her up to go and help Ellen out. I'd link but I am on a tablet and it's awkward.

I also cycled twice at lunch this week and picked up a Nexus tablet which I am liking more and more as I get used to it.

Not much on the RP front, but I sold a story this week, which brings my releases for the year so far to two. I'm trying to meet or break my personal record of six.

Dude, I am THRILLED that I'll be able to leave work before sunset for the first time in six months. :D :D :D :D :D It makes the long/late hours a gazillion times more bearable. Soon it'll even be light enough that I can skate for a couple hours after work!

In my neck of the woods, I didn't do much RP besides finishing up the Boyd-Gaeta thread from a couple of weeks back. It remained just as awesome up to the very end -- thank you again, Sweeney. <33333

Outside of that, I'm starting my third week of bringing lunch to work on the regular, so there's been a lot of cooking going on lately. And...I'm actually having fun doing it. :O I think my dad's chef genes may have finally asserted themselves. It's so weird.

The theme this week for Autor was learning things~!

First up, he learned pretty quickly that pranking a sleeping Rabastan is a terrible idea.

Next, Ellen was happy to explain more about her world. Shortly after that, Lucas taught him how to behave around people showed him how to spit sunflower seeds over a distance, and then brought him to the greenhouse.

Finally, he learned a bit about flirting from naked!Poins and... Karkat the Dreamer?? (Oh, that poor troll.)

Can I just say, Autor-Karkat was amazing.

The thought of two Autors regenerating like a flatworm is legitimately terrifying.

I've had a strange week, busy at work and feeling tired as I slowly get things done. This coming week looks to be even stranger but at least Spring is in the air.

As a balance to work, I've been writing and RPing as it helps me feel productive. I just wrote a 100 word story over here for X-Men: First Class, its set on the beach. Also I set up sandbox EPs for Tiwa and AU!Hogwarts' Will, because I've missed them both.

One of my favorite threads was Moist took Moriarty to the Disc and they didn't get in too much trouble and had a short talk with Orpheus.

William talked with Lou who's wonderful.

Will had an EP, reconnected with Nynaeve in a somber thread, and spoke with Harry Percy and soon to be Kate Percy in a lovely thread.

Charles has an EP as he's being loud in my fic brain and that translates into loud in RP as well.

Let's see.

This week, I:

1) Assembled, packaged, and mailed 1,829 surveys for dissertation data collection;
2) Actually planned and made schedule notes for upcoming RP adventures for 3, maybe even 4 characters;
3) Put together the first draft of my full dissertation all the way up through the methods section;
4) Vague for now b/c of reasons, but I had a meeting with someone to discuss whether to take a wild leap or be cautious about something that means a lot to me ... and worked out a solution that makes the wild leap feasible enough to do it. :)

It's been one heck of a week.

And I seem to have intrigued the mun of a Felix castmate I've been wanting for a very long time. We'll see whether and how that works out.

And I actually got time to write down some of his ooms I've had in my head, which got merged into one.
