A week from now I will be taking my EXB 10 final and gearing up for my CHEM 2A final.

Two weeks from now I will be deep in the throes of spring break, re: sleep.

I don't know if it is possible to be more done with a quarter than I am right now.

Someone is secretly in love with your character. Who is it and how does your character feel about them?

Well, he IS a Knight in Shining Armor. Hell, his original canon is probably the Trope Namer. I'm sure there probably are a number of young ladies in love with him, much like the girls that fawn over Fakir. Knowing their luck, he doesn't feel the same way in return.

Mia knows there are a lot of men in love with her. The fact that there's a Mia Ausa Fan Club is evidence of that. She's fine with most of them but doesn't like the creeps that read Hot Girl News.

Lucas, at this point in canon, mainly hangs around with Boney, Duster, and Kumatora. So if he assumed it's anyone, he'd assume it's Kumatora and that just strikes him as strange.

For the record, Harry Percy is never secretly in anything with anybody. So, er, I guess he's disqualified.

But if anyone other than Kate is in love with him? He... probably wouldn't notice. For a variety of reasons, from "He's so in love with Kate that he just doesn't pick up on it from anyone else" to "He's kind of a rhinoceros."

Andrea has a secret love which becomes very obvious, okay more obvious in the next book. His name is Raphael and is bouda which is everything Andrea has been fighting not to be. It's silly and tragic but gets better...eventually.

Sorry about that, I've just been replaying Dark Dawn, in which Felix rarely comes up and when he does he's described as a scoundrel and a thieving fiend and a traitor and so on. (The Felix in my head is beginning to suspect that someone with a better vocabulary was riding along in Garet's head to write the Sun Saga, since that's pretty much how Garet saw him up until Jupiter Lighthouse.)

So. Um. Secretly in love.

...I dunno? I mean, I could make up some NPCs to fill that role for Felix and Kain, and the former even has some half-canonical justification (there is a nameless NPC in Prox who apparently considers him hot). Neither of them is particularly likely to notice or care at the moment, anyway.

Fluttershy was a model for a while, so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to learn that a number of colts fell in love with her then. But again, there's nopony canonical I can particularly point to. (Unless... Fancy Pants?) She would try to avoid whoever it is.

Marian's not sure she's "down" with the idea of people being secretly in love with her anymore.

First person was her first Milliways best friend, (original) Merlin, who decided to confess his undying love, loyalty and respect, while saying his permanent Milliways last-scene goodbye, while she had AMNESIA.

Second person was Guy of Gisborne, who decides no, really, he's actually in love with her and displays it black mailing her into marriage, nearly letting her father be murdered by his boss, burning down her house, and helping keep her prisoner in Notthingham Castle.







What do you mean there's a third person? Or that she might be? She's totally presently, iconically, in love. With Robin Hood.

When people like Asami, they don't tend to keep it a secret.

Leslie's current fiancé-soon-to-be-husband Ben was secretly in love with her, and she was secretly in love with him, but couldn't act on it because they worked together in city government. But then they made out anyway. And then Leslie had to break up with him. And the he gave her an L-shaped eclair and they made out more.

Though I haven't gotten there yet because I am the worst, I would say Manny is the one who is secretly in love. Though he's literally the only person it's a secret to because he's an idiot.

I think Marceline probably has a few secret admirers in Ooo. She'd probably be mean to them.

... and yes, someone is secretly in love with Katara. And it's... complicated.

Raph would be oblivious, because that's how Raph rolls. If someone did manage to get it through that this head of his, he'd be an awkward turtleduck about it and explain in the plainest language he has that he's with Abigail.

If Mike was in any way attracted to them he'd confront them about it. Actually...even if he wasn't attracted to them he'd confront them about it.

Splinter would probably remain stoic on the outside, and inside be a GIANT BALL OF NEUROTIC WHAT?!

Bumi's had more than his fair share of crushes, and broken more than a few hearts in his time. He's gotten quite good at the soft let-down of, I'm already taken. Though the version of which let-down speech changes given the person he's selling it to.

Aang was just honest with Meng when he confirmed that he didn't think of her the way she thought of him. It was an awkward conversation, but the right one to have.

The Loompas would have absolutely no idea what to do if someone loved them. They're used to being the unrequited lovers.

Ida calls that sort of thing "Any Day That Ends in Y," and just moves on.

In canon? Probably not. Autor's a jerk and what the hell is love anyway, clearly it's not that important, and he has other things to focus on thank you very much. He's the one who confesses everything in ten minutes after they start talking. Yup.

Gordon is incredibly wigged out by the various people of his world who have Famous Person Crushes on him and does his absolute best to ignore it when it happens. Alyx, I think, finds his reaction amusing.

Other than that I don't think anybody else really has a secret or not-so-secret romantic fondness for any of my characters at this point, other than Scribe Cancio over in Ellen's world, who was doing his level best not to let on about it (and kinda failing miserably) right up until she found him designing a replica of General Jingwei's shocksword specifically for her and flat-out asked him.

I"m certain someone in Nottingham and other people have had crushes on Will, because he's brave, intelligent and handsome. That might be a story idea.

Charles and Erik sort of have mutual not that secret intense feelings, crush is too light a word for them. I know as a professor that people had crushes on him, which he knew about and found sweet. You can't really have a truly secret crush on a telepath other than Raven. As how she thinks about Charles isn't exactly how he thinks of her, they're complicated.

Sameth has probably had a few people have crushes on him, but nothing was specified in canon, another fic idea.

Moist tries to not create enough attention for someone to get that involved with him but he's all about flirting to get someone thinking nicely about him.

Jane has and would rather someone told her as in her work being secretly in love with someone isn't a good thing. She prefers someone to be open with her.

William kind of flails in my head at the idea of this as he doesn't see himself as someone that anyone would crush on. I don't think its happened that often due to how people tend to not think that well of his family, but at least one or two girls have thought he was cute and brave.

Demeter beams at everyone at this question because she's a goddess, that's just her due.

Tumnus blushes and doesn't have a good answer. I think there's been one or two girl Fauns that have, but I don't like thinking about that part of his world.

The Pirate King finds secret crushes to be his due as the dashing king he is.

Goodness only knows who would crush on an aging professor who is happily married, thank you very much. That's Max's view.

Then there's my pair of aging but (to some, I don't doubt) eligible bachelors. Neither of whom can imagine anything but life as a bachelor.

Bean is far, far, far too young for this kind of thing. In time, there may be someone, and he'll ignore it for as long as he can.

Jack is also an eligible bachelor. If he was to become aware of such a thing, at the moment, he'd do his best to dissuade them.

It used to be Nepeta, and Karkat was extremely avoidant. He would probably deal with an unwanted crush in any quadrant the same way; he is actually surprisingly sensitive about that kind of thing.

In canon, I highly doubt that anyone's secretly in love with Joshua. In my personal would-like-to-see headcanon, I'd love it if HG Wells was in love with him. It would just be hilarious and kinda dangerous. He probably wouldn't know what to do with it, though. Poor boy hasn't had a girlfriend since the Reagan administration.

Steve would be oblivious, no matter how blindingly obvious it was to everyone else, until that person, say, grabbed him by the shirt and laid a kiss on him. At which point he'd have to let them down gently.

Lydia would take it as her due, not that Stiles anyone but Jackson would have a chance with her.

Bilbo would be politely baffled.

Merlin would also be oblivious, though when the show did have him attracted to someone other than Arthur he was very attentive and sweet.

Dixie Would tease and flirt up a storm, but depending on Brisco's existence would stop there.
