I delivered a baby boy Friday night. 9.4 lbs, 22.4 inches long. Birth was quick, unmedicated, and everybody are doing fine. So far, there has only been one suggestion of feeding the baby to crocodiles from the older sister, so I'll consider that a win.
I watch all of Lost Girl and promptly fell in love with everyone (everyone, omg), but most especially Bo. Of course. (Says the girl being drug around by Steve McGarrett.) But that's pretty much the highlight of my week.
Unless it was getting paid for a temp job that had me sitting in an audience watching America's Got Talent being filmed live in front of me, or getting paid the next full day for showing up and their not being seats, which meant getting sent home and squandering my time was still getting paid.
I had a check in with one of my supervisors and it went well. I think I surprised her though I later got annoyed at the lack of communication and respect I get from those in charge, but I don't care. I finished the library website and I have a table to sit at for parent-teacher conferences. I'm going to keep doing the good job I'm doing and know its not for their sakes.
In terms of RP, I've been fairly busy, no finished fics but I do have a couple I'm working on.
To start off with the in the sandboxes, Charles and Maria Hill are talking, there's an assumption that they're from a shared Marvelverse. Its a good and serious conversation. Thalia and William are also talking with a harder thread.
Then in the main bar, this has been a week with lots of Charles and William with a few others thrown in.
Will met Yugo who's fun and laid back. Yugo also showed up in Demeter's first day of Spring EP.
Charles met Bond, had fun with Snake Juice with Ava and Bela, slightly drunk Charles is hilarious. Then the next day, he got pulled into a food fight with the Donovans who are wonderful, tag these two siblings.
William is getting his anger out in an EP and I love how Dinah and Michael went, let me help you. He also is talking with Scorpius
I finished my first quarter of grad school and seem to have done quite well, which I'm thrilled by!
Also, it's not finished just yet, but shoot, you guys, Kate and Harry being giddy together are just the cutest ever. (Likewise, Harry has totally offered to fight a duel on Lady Mary Crawley's behalf if she doesn't want to marry that Cousin Matthew character.)
I made it safely to Australia! I've defeated 95% of the jetlag (though the fact that I've woken up at 6 AM the past three days makes me feel very virtuous, if nothing else)! And, to quote my Twitter account:

I have a few things in slowtime, which more than I have had in a while. And we have more or less finished turning the house over for Passover, and are in the process of getting ready to host our first seder at home!
