The love story of a fish and a bird
Bones is a man of science, of proofs and maths and theories that are only called theories because you can't prove something to be true. He swears to a God he doesn't believe in, jokes about the magic of modern medicine while knowing the facts behind it, and snarls every time someone blames the supernatural for their problems.
Olga is a creature of magic, of the belief and dreams of a species, living in that place that only belongs in fairy tales and nightmares. She only swears when she means it, and its intent rings true with the power she unleashes behind it. She can make easy mockery of his facts, math failing to apply to a woman who can walk between raindrops and bullets.
Somehow together they carve out a place they can both be comfortable, despite their deeply disparate natures. Where his American brashness and her Russian pragmatism compliment rather than clash. She claims it is due to his scientific plotting. He just blames voodoo magic.
