Since I'm up at this godforsaken hour after pulling an all-nighter, I'll take today's DE. As you might have noticed,
bjornwilde has been covering for me the past few weeks - I'll pick back up with my half of the week this coming Friday morning.
Beyond that, we'll see.

I think that only Fairy Fixit is my only other pup that has a hot button. That would be something along the line of incompetent religious nutbag. It isn't enough to get her to try to infect you with some horrible fungal disease or toss you into a teleporter or anything like that, it is just enough to make her argumentative.

Ben Grimm hates it when anyone calls him late for dinner. In all seriousness though, calling him a monster is the quickest way to cut to the quick.
Hank McCoy is quite used to verbal abuse and rather unimpressed with the lackluster vocabulary most often used. Poindexter tends to be the one that still upsets him however since he is quite intelligent, thank you very much.
For Andrea Nash, abomination or half-breed are the most potent but runt still stings from time to time.
Jessica Drew will have to fight herself not to hit anyone who calls her Veranke or skrull. Otherwise, she pretty thick skinned. Except for Spider-man's taught of "Team Sad". That really got to her for some reason.

Anton hates being called useful by any member of either the Daywatch (i.e. Dark Others) or the Inquisition.
Calling Quinlan Sith or Jedi actually is not a good idea. He will either mock you or
hide the body if need bethreaten bodily harm. I don't know that he would really kill anyone seeing as how that is a very Sith thing to do.no subject

Calling Aphrodite a slut. And Ava a dupe or a pawn.

Katya: Dark. It's... rather impossible, but still. It's the antithesis of everything she is.
Haymitch: At this point, whatever it is, he's probably been called it enough times that it's stopped hurting quite so bad. Or, at least, it's blended in with everything else.
Balthazar: Morganian, or insinuating that he's betrayed Merlin's trust.
Bones: A bad doctor. He's been called every other name in the book - his professional pride is one of the few things that hasn't taken a serious hit.
Glorfindel: ........................................... Um. Kinslayer, I suppose, but he'd just look at you funny, 'cause... noooo, he hasn't? Oathbreaker would get more of a rise, but eventually his good sense would catch up.
Oswin: Dalek. Thanks, Doctor. So much.

Charles: Freak, monster or uncaring, the last one because he defines himself so much by how he cares.
William: Stupid or foolish.
Sameth: He's a harder one since for him its a lot of not being good enough at what he does and not one particular phrase.
Moist: He's actually really hard to insult because he tends to have a fluid idea of his identity. I guess stupid would bother him.
Jane: A bad writer, stupid as she prides herself on her intelligence.
Demeter: Cold
Tumnus: Traitor or a bad friend
The Pirate King: a bad pirate

Butch would have it known that he is emphatically not a killer, but he's not
pre-Bolivia anyway, and Bolivia, what is that?and people realize that, so...Uther Doul is not a leader. He's a mercenary. His loyalty is paid for and he is never disloyal to his captains. He gets very offended when people poke at any of those things.
I think the rest of mine are pretty relaxed about things. Well, Weyland's a cranky bastard but that's just how he is, there's nothing in particular someone can call him that will upset him.

Molly: At this stage, I'm not sure what would set tinyMolly off, other than the usual anti-mutant slurs. But insulting her hat probably won't end well for you. As an adult? Don't call her a liar, a traitor or a coward. The latter two in particular will result in you getting a hurt, mostly because a small part of her still thinks they might be accurate.
Minerva: Call her a coward and she'll laugh you off, because she knows perfectly well she isn't; likewise, if you call her stupid. But try any variation on 'mudblood' and you are getting very, very comprehensively hexed.
Edna: Don't call her a bad designer.
Raoul: Don't ever, ever, ever question his honour.

Emmett Weak, chicken, anything along those lines.
Sam A trader to his country
Moz A Fed.
Jameson Just a reporter.

Raph: On the other hand, really REALLY hates the word Freak.
Bumi: I'm sure there's a slur for non-benders, and depending on who you are and how you use it will dictate exactly how much of your ass gets kicked.
Aang: A failure.
Because at this point in canon Aang already feels like one, and hearing that from someone else's mouth will just push him right over the edge.
Ida: Is impervious to your insults.

Juliet: Same. Liar and Bad cop rank up there though.
Dix: annd same, though she doesn't react well to 'gold digger' either.
Pinkie: MEAN.
