*spams*
So, in order to take a leeeeetle of the sting out of last night's wibbly thread of d00m, I offer a small anecdote, that you all might have a chuckle at my expense.
I work at Eddie Bauer (clothing store chain, for all you non-US folks), and decided to do a bit of shopping on my shift last night. I picked out a new top, umbrella with-cool-squishy-gel-handle, and a wallet because mine's falling apart. My manager came over to ring me up, looked at my purchases, and then looked up at me with an "ooooooookay" expression on his face. I looked down at what I'd piled on the counter, confused, and then did a huge mental facepalm.
Everything. Was. Bright. Pink.

I have a feeling we bond with our characters so well because we had a tendency towards some of that in the first place. Still ridiculous, though. *rolls eyes at self :D*
Also, psst. Just emailed you.

However, I have found myself voluntarily reading FAR too many medical articles lately. And re-reading science fiction that I read in high school (circa September 1976-June 1980, so...MWPP-era).
So...yeah.

Telling people things, then staring at them until they come to the right conclusions? Check.
Tendency to sit still enough my classmates think i'm dead? Check.
