:D! Gavroche will... have absolutely no idea who Fantine is, seeing as she died when he was a baby and his parents probably never mentioned her before he left, but will most likely love her anyway.

Eponine too, but more on an account of Sonya being able to relate in a strange sort of way.

Is this book canon mostly or musical?

We'll accept either. :) Gavroche and Javert are primarily musical/film, Grantaire and Enjolras I believe are primarily book, I don't know about Fantine. Go with whichever you know or like better, the main thrust of the story is the same in both, but Gavroche will be very confused if 'Ponine mentions Azelma. ;)

Good to know! I'm doubt I will app her this month as I am trying to post more with the pups I have but the interest is definitely there for August or beyond if no one else picks her up. 'ponine is one of my absolute favorite characters from Les Mis.

I'm currently testing out Eponine here through this account - she's a combo of musical and movie canon to a degree, but is mostly movie with musical canon mostly coming into play when it comes to her background/childhood and her feelings about Cosette (OK it's to ramp up the parallel that is the reversal of their roles SOB). I have brick knowledge but it's been awhile since I read it through.
