Ur-Milliversary

Nine years ago, I saw a drunk!post on my LJ flist about an RPG. There was a corresponding sober!post of 'I can't quite believe I made that, but come join?' I thought it would be a fun way to pass the summer before I started college, apped a couple characters, and idly wondered what would become of the game when the bulk of us started school in the fall.

It's still here. I'm still here. and I've loved every minute of it.

Florence, however, is not out of the world. Or rather, it's out in a world that can be reached. I am now imagining Teja, Yrael and Hannibal, in a ratty old Fiat 500, driving from Vinci to Florence in the night and then break into Palzzo Capponi to see if they can find a freezer somewhere in the basement...

Teja of course would have to remain in the dark about what they are actually looking for.

8 years ago as of June 23rd, I met two wonderful milli-muns at a Browncoat screening of Serenity here in Cbus. Hilarity ensued as I adopted Wat from A Knight's Tale.
