Wednesday Night Shout Outs

IT'S STILL WEDNESDAY. >_>

I don't know about you, but my midweek just keeps getting busier and busier. And it seems like the same is true of the bar. There's been a lot of great new stuff out there this past week, starting with the Bruce-Molly-Thor fight last Friday. I know it's already been shouted out a million times, but I wanted to start off by saying well done to all!

• In more sedate corners, Jessica Drew had a really lovely OoM, or journal entry, on what it means to be a hero.
  
• The minions have discovered Milliways, and they are hilarious. Particular emphasis on the thread with Natasha Romanoff. Gold.
  
• I cannot lie. I am delighted that Milliways is now +2 new dwarfs. Thorin Oakenshield finds Milliways, and a few days later so does Kili. Yes, I know these make two separate shout-outs, but I had a really hard time choosing okay. Both EPs are still brand new, but seriously, LOVE.
  

Guys, guys, guys. There is SO MUCH MORE awesomeness out there. So what about YOU? Who's been rocking your socks? It can be here, in a backroom meme, in a sandbox comm. I know this just happened tonight but you can bet I'll be watchign all of Charles' bartending. I mention it because we get a peek into Hannibal's mind and wow, great job Maru! Do I need to point out how much I will be thread stalking? Didn't think so.

ETA: And thank you for the shout out. I think there's more happening in that OOM which still needs to be written.

Thank you! I must admit this is by a factor of x more difficult to write than normal, non-narrative thought-free Hannibal tags when he just talks politely and I only faintly guess what he may be thinking -- but I thought it would be worth it, for meeting Charles Xavier, and for the insights this may provide.

On second thought, I actually have to drag my own pup to meet Charles Xavier to get a look inside his head? That one is very, very complex...

To be honest, I keep trying to think of a way for Ben to meet Hannibal for foodie bonding and tweakiness but can't think of a way Ben wouldn't know who Hannibal likely is. He had to have seen Silence of the Lambs at least, if not the prequel film Hannibal. Of course if your Hannibal doesn't look anything like Anthony Hopkins....

Oh, I think Bruce was quite sure this is THE Hannibal Lecter! But he"s indestructible, so who minds Hannibal the cannibal if they themselves are the Hulk?

Ben certainly wouldn't be worried for his own skin (buh dump chink) but would be squiked to have talked with a serial killer. He's sort of funny that way.

My favoritest thing at present have to do with both of the soon-to-happen Hawaii Five-0 hijinks.

For the first time Steve and Danny appeared together in Milliways, reacting to the coming Winter Wonderland in Summer. Also, we're working away at what will soon be their first episode epilogue and I'm so deeply in love with the concept.

Agent Maria Hill kicks ass and takes names. Funny, I rewatched The Avengers recently and wondered if anyone would app her.

Also can I just say today's DE was hi-LAR-ious, omg.

Gaeta and Hoshi work on rebuilding their relationship. I love these two but canon is awful.

I'm only involved in one of the these threads (but: finished slowtime!), but I've been watching with enormous glee as the various threads of Grantaire's first EP progress. I think they're most or all at wrap now, or will be in a few tags?

Also, seconding the Hoshi-Gaeta OOM (guuuuuuuuuuuuys) and Korra's solution to a hot day, and shouting out to Wolfwood's... creative approach to a Happy Hour.
