Connor is proving to be the perfect break from my current lineup of pups.

(In his defense, he's got good reasons.)
John does lasso stunts and trick shots for independent farmers at risk of corporate buyout.
Mako does firebending and lightningbending stunts for Republic City orphanages in need of funding.
And Connor recites teleprompted speeches into the camera for impoverished First Nations families, but not much else.

Sunshine would gladly volunteer her time and services for a charity telethon to help feed the hungry. She wouldn't get anywhere near the cameras, but the people working the telethon, answering phones, manning the cameras and performing to drum up support, would be kept happy and well-stocked with delicious baked goods.
Zelgadiss would agree to be a phone-answerer, once someone explains to him how one uses a phone.

Helena would throw her support into a books-for-kids telethon. She'd get in front of the camera and read, and all of a sudden young men would be throwing their money at the charity. (shutupandtakemymoney.jpeg)
Fantine would be confused at the idea of a telethon, but she would sit in a corner and sew clothes for orphans.

Charles would put together some sort of charity for oh my, many options, mutants, war orphans, whoever needs him. My headcanon is that his mother was very active in the NYC charity world and so he grew up with this idea that helping people is just what you do. Though for her it was a mix of being about status and other issues. He could be the host of a telethon or the one who interviews people who's lives have been changed.
William would be uncomfortable at being involved and prefer to be doing some kind of physical labor to help out. The kind of charity he would be involved in would be about tuberculosis or orphans.
Sameth would be the one who keeps everything running though someone like Nick or Ellimere would pull him out to the front to wave to people. I could see it being a fundraising for the refugee Southerlings that are now in the Old Kingdom. Since he's done a lot to help them but its more behind the scenes.
Demeter would briefly talk, she doesn't choose to be seen often, it would be a fundraiser for farmers and her focus would be on talking about the history of the land and the people. She would give out plants that would grow no matter where you lived.
Jane would enjoy herself and spend the time having discussions about writing though her father would organize the fundraiser. It would be for veterans or orphans of the Napoleonic wars.
Moist would get involved during his later canon and not like it as he enjoys an audience but hates having people know what he looks like. He would speak as briefly as he could get away with and then be behind the scenes. Before canon, he probably wouldn't be anywhere near since while he's a thief, taking from people who raise money for others is almost as bad as murder.
Tumnus would speak briefly and mainly be behind the scenes, the telethon would be for something in Narnia, I don't know what.
The Pirate King would own the telethon stage and raise huge amounts of money.

She probably shouldn't be in front of a camera.
Fairy Fixit is easier to deal within this regard. Her charity would have something to do with weather and climate disaster relief and research. It's a thing with the fairies of her canon; she's just the black sheep that studied teleportation instead. And in front of the camera... Stupid Toothbeast tricks?

No, really.

ha.
I shouldn't laugh. I get paid (partially, not totally) with exploding computer money. WHY WORLD, WHY?

"Um, Amacsut...? It's supposed to be '...or I'll kill this kitten.'"
"... That makes no sense! I'm gonna kill the kitten anyway! Might as well get some money out of it!"
No, Mr. Fluffytums, I expect you to die.
Because eugh, kittens. EUGH

On camera, he would confirm the argument that he and Omni-Man had during the fight, and probably end up having to leave the stage before he started crying. He would come back though, thanking anyone who contributed wholeheartedly, and agreeing to take the top contributors flying. Which he would grumble about, off camera, because he really doesn't like taking people flying. (There are really only two ways to take someone flying, cradling them in your arms or "pitting," carrying them under their armpits. Neither of them are particularly comfortable, for either party.)

Steve would do strongman-type feats, probably to raise funds to rebuild after the latest supervillain attack.
Bilbo would donate his cooking skills to feed the crew.
Jack would participate in a bachelor auction. His favorite charity would be something palace-approved and innocuous--or to raise awareness for his sister's health care plan.
... dammit, I just plot bunnied myself.
Lydia would be behind the scenes, probably running the tote board. I can't decide if she'd do something to help endangered wolves or run far, far away.
The Ice King would sing (badly), play drums (badly), or do ninja tricks (badly) to raise money for the Preservation and Protection of Penguins.
