*just a heads up*
It's that time of year *shudders*
Every year during August, the company that I work with caters to the Cincinnati pro tennis tournament from the 9th to the 18th. In that time, half of our staff is catering to the tennis pros (in a kitchen without Air conditioning) while the rest of us are dealing with the day-to-day contracts that we get every week. This means that for the next ten days or so, we'll be understaffed and overworked. Last year I managed to clock in 60 hours in one week.
In short, this isn't exactly a haitus, because I'll still have access to a computer when I get home from work, but the odds are good that most nights I won't have the brain energy to respond all that quickly to tags as I'd like to.
This is just a heads up to any future threads/tags. It's not you..it's just this time of the year that we're staff stretched and overworked.
