Your character gets to/has to spend their vacation... AT THE LIBRARY! Specifically, a huge, well-organized, architecturally nifty one, with librarians and other patrons and all -- and a small cafe, let's say, so that they don't have to spend the day fasting -- which they are for some handwavy reason obliged to spend at least one full day inside with nothing to do except what they feel like.
Do they love it? Hate it, and spend every second bored stiff? Dive into the archives and not emerge for a month? Shrug, because they already live or work in a library and this is basically Tuesday to them?

Both the Bruce's would be fine with it - Banner would actively enjoy it, and get stuck into some research. Wayne would rather not spend an entire day there - he's a busy man! - but if he had to, he'd likewise put the time to good use.

Gordon would pull down several books from the physics section and then put two of them back so that he'd have room to go and pull Dune or Lord of the Rings from the science fiction section. Then he'd hole himself up somewhere and read the science books first so he'd feel like he'd done his obligatory duty to catching up with his profession, and then spend the rest of the day with the SF stuff, and anyone who tried to distract him from this would get a filthy look and a hand on his crowbar. (He wouldn't actually hit anyone with it. That might make a mess and he's not going to do that to the librarians.)
Shephard would park himself somewhere near the early portion of the 800s (he does not strike me as the sort to wind up in a Library of Congress-system library) and look for the stuff he recognizes from the Bookmobile that used to come to town every so often when he was a kid. The stuff he hadn't memorized yet, anyway. He'd probably skip the library's copy of Paradise Lost, as he has his own and doesn't want to deny somebody else the chance to spend some time with Mr. Milton.
Varric would look for his own works on the shelf and would pester the librarians about buying the works of this brilliant new author who writes in four or five different genres if he didn't find them.
Mordin would start counting over the books he'd already read and memorized (being a salarian, the phrase is probably redundant- the whole species is composed of visual eidetics) and then find the multimedia section to look for something musically interesting. Or possibly the art history section. Or maybe the philosophy and religion section. More likely all of them. His species lives at very high speed.
Ellen would squeak a bit and then beg the librarians to give her a volume discount on the photocopier because she would have to bring all of it home, ALL OF IT, unless of course they'd archived the entire library to holotape in which case HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THAT HOLO. Not for her own use, for the Brotherhood and for Moira to reprint.
Santo would offer to assist the children's librarians and conduct a couple of storytime sessions that ended with him signing autographs with exhortations to read and study hard. And the kids would do it, too.
Medic would park himself in the R or possibly Q section (I am using Library of Congress classification system here because I don't know how German libraries organize their books) and find material of interest for some time to come, and before he left he would probably check out several violin recordings as well.
And Stacker would stop at the door, contact his subordinates and tell them exactly where he was, and then not only turn off his electronic devices but turn them over to the librarian. If an emergency arose, the Shatterdome personnel would have to reach him by calling the library's main number and having him paged, but if he got a day at the library he would not want his reading time disturbed, thank you.

Sunshine: Loves it! She'd happily peruse the gormless old fantasy and horror-genre paperbacks and occasionally snicker at their inaccuracies and drama. She may also, if she gets curious (and of course she would), cautiously approach the section of books on magic, and look through a few things there while feeling like she's getting away with something.
Zelgadiss: Loves it! He'd throw himself into any section on magic for days, looking for books on chimeras in an attempt to find a way to cure himself. He would only emerge once all options have been followed and exhausted without coming to fruition. Not even to eat.
*looks up* I think I have a theme. *just happens to be wearing her librarian hat*

Helena would park herself in the sci-fi section with a book and watch people's reactions to things, probably making a few remarks here and there. She'd also be very glad that there's a light and sunny place to read. (the Warehouse library, like everything in the Warehouse is basically in a mountain, so it's not the most comfortable place to read.)
Joshua would find the physics section and see if there's anything even remotely close to something new. There probably would be. When he's read a few things, he'd go back to fiction and read some more.
Fantine would find some books with lovely illustrations and lose herself in staring at everyone's clothes.
Valentine would hide in the history section, and probably accidentally spend the night.

Well, two of mine would be well behaved in a library. Somewhat. Fairy Fixit would spend her time in the non-fiction science and engineering stacks/section and Amascut would spend her time in magic but might also get lost in conspiracy/woo/abnormal psych.
Those tend to be in non-fiction as well. Seriously. I spend a good chunk of time at school in the Science and Engineering Library and there is a large woo section next to ab psych. But there is also a large chunk of shelf space dedicated to wines, and another dedicated to fabrics! Of course, there is also a large chunk related to cement. Science and Engineering libraries are full of interesting things, seriously. Every one should wander around one at least once in their life.
Amascut would be more likely to experiment with her new found knowledge and be disruptive about it though.
Evil Chicken would be most disruptive, given his tendency to attack anyone engrossed in any type of activity.
I don't think anyone of them would be bored, except maybe Amascut at first.

Twilight lives and works in a library, but this is a new library.

Anton heads straight for the music section and isn't seen again.
Jessica will likely head for the DVDs and maybe the music. I'm not sure if she's a reader.
Ben will grumble for about a half hour and then head to the magazine racks for back issues of Popular Mechanics, eventually making his way to the engineering section if he is feeling researchy. Otherwise it's to the comics or DVDs.
For Thalia, it's like returning to her childhood home. Being homeless and a runaway, I've decided she spent a lot of time in libraries. She heads for the teen room and looks for urban fantasy books, having already read most of what is available for Greek mythology.
Andrea heads for the romance and makes a nice nest in a chair. Later she'll likely hit the gun books but will avoid the mythology, even though she really should read up on it. She just knows it's a waste of time for her as none of it will stick.
Quinlan, assuming we are sticking with print books will be very confused as to what people are doing; holographic tech being what it is in the Star Wars universe, he's never seen a printed book. He'll catch on eventually and handwaving the language barrier, will grab random books to read and be delighted. If we go with teh language barrier, he'll look for books with illustrations and enjoy those.

Charles would go from the science section to fiction and have a collection of books and up to date journals then find a quiet seat and read.
Moist would search out books that could help him with whatever job he's currently working on and maybe some fiction as well.
William would find young adult books and general fiction, get a pile, find a seat and then not emerge for a while.
Jane would spend her time talking to patrons about what they're reading, picking up and investigating various books with a focus on romance and the new books. Then at some point she would sit down with a book and read.
Sameth would be off reading engineering and magical texts for ideas on how to do his Wallmaker job better. He would take over a table, lose track of time and they would probably find him asleep when the library closes.
Demeter enjoys libraries but they're not her favorite places. She would find cookbooks to get ideas for recipes and help out in the children's section.
Tumnus would be in heaven and end up like Sameth except reading about history instead of engineering.
The Pirate King wouldn't want to stay for too long, but he would enjoy himself in the fiction section.
I think its obvious I'm a librarian, even my not great reader pups would have fun.

Aradia wouldn't mind but would find even reading about adventure a bit sedate for her tastes. I'm sure she'd find some fun reads though.

Sherlock would think it an utter waste of his time. And then he'd disappear into the rare book section never to be heard from again.
Earl is a people watcher. He's not much of a reader.
Mills thinks he would be bored out of his skull, but soon enough, he'd find a topic that he'd been meaning to research, and would be content.
Olga is used to waiting. Libraries are good places to wait. They are not good places to go on holiday. But she'd do all right.
Fiona would go out of her mind. She might find an abandoned corner and start setting fires.
Vlad would stalk the other patrons, of course. (Picture him holding his cape over his arm and face like The Count from Sesame Street.)
River Song has bad memories of a certain Library, but she's a professor, so she'd manage just fine. As long as there were no shadows lurking.
John Silver, hmm. I know he reads, but I'm not sure to what level. I'm going to say, enough to keep an inn, but he probably struggles with high literature.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, they do other things.
For Erik, he'd either go find the physics journals, and do some catching up, or else he'd go read something from his childhood.
Alfred would possibly spend more time watching the other patrons than actually reading his own book. And I have no idea what he'd choose to be reading.
Bean dives in and has read it all in a month. Or, at least, all the pertinent parts of it.
