Sunday Indulgences

Happy Sunday, y'all! I just wanted to start off by saying a big thank you to everybody who's covered Wednesday Shout Outs for the past few weeks. You're all great.

Catch me up on the haps, everybody.
What have you been up to this week?

I treated Connor like a piece of underdone pasta this week.

Which is to say I threw him at basically everybody I could reach to see if he'd stick.

Which is not how you should treat pasta.

It might not be the best way to treat pasta, but it is a damn good way to see if it's done!

Also, Connor is awesome. :D

:D! Thank you, thank you. If I may be so bold as to ask - favorite moments so far?

I'VE BEEN THREADING. YAY.

I even did an EP, and seriously, everyone who tagged in? I love you, and the threads. Nat-Clint remain adorkable (and it's ridic how much Nat lights up around him), Nat-Charles ended in revelations of Charles' telepathy and the start of something that's going to be followed up, Nat-Katya are hiiiiiilarious (older-than-they-look ex-Soviet Russian ladies unite), Nat-X I always find interesting and head off in unexpected ways, and Nat-Michael has had me literally cackling IRL with delight. Not all of those threads are finished yet, but *HUGS THEM*

Hi, Milliways, this RPing semi-regularly again is great. Let's keeping doing it :D

Loving our thread, and yes... tagging semi-regularly is nice I should also try this new thing...

I EP'd wee!Mako this week and it was the best decision ever.

Kudos to everyone who tagged in on that; I'm really enjoying all of her threads. (Annnnd I just saw the movie again last night, so expect lots more of her in the Bar, at multiple ages.)

I have finally let Ako go home for a while, or you would be seeing Ako showing up and complaining about the rate time passes at.

So much.

I'm going to assume you saw the Mako & Bolin mini-ep on Nickelodeon's website. If not, check out "Republic City Shuffle, Episode 1". Hijinks ensue (and an implied origin for Pabu).

This'd be the other Mako, my friend.

We have passed that One Steve Limit.

Ah. See, I live in friggin' sticks, where the movie theaters aren't big enough to have giant robots and the Canucklehead who is the Best At What He DoesTM in at the same time. And due to lack of fundage, I missed the big giant robots dealing with the Cancelled Apocalypse. I has a sad, but it is overwhelmed by the fact that I am once again employed. I will see "Pacific Rim" soon enough, but I'm not driving the 100 miles that I would have to drive to see it. (Stupid West Virginia.)

IT JUST HIT ME.

SEASON 5B OF BREAKING BAD PREMIERES TONIGHT.

Yeeeeeeee boy.

I have occasionally entertained the analogy that it is to the United States what Doctor Who is to England, and I am quite content with that.

Breaking Bad is a little tiny baby compared to Doctor Who. Fifty years and counting, yo. But they are both quality TV.

I've had a lot of great threads this week but my biggest stuff has been packing my apartment. At this point I have my kitchen, some of my office stuff and what I need in my bedroom left.

Hannibal took a bartending shift, after having gone to the labyrinth with Yrael earlier -- latter thread still ongoing.

Other than that, I caught the Night Vale thing, which cost me more time than I intended?

It was supposed to be a shark but the shape of the watermelon didn't allow for much torso. = ]

The idea came from here but I wasn't smart enough to do a websearch before I tried it so I didn't have instructions.

I've been throwing Fairy Fixit at people, and now I am going to throw up all the threads because I have no idea what you people like. I DON'T KNOW!!

Self, stop feeling guilty, these are called Indulgences for a reason.

Anyway!

Fixit is being weird about Iris because.. aww dammit, it's my tag. I am horrible at keeping track of these things.

And somewhere around the same millitime, Guppy has to deal with a drunk fairy

Then she bugs Joshua Donovan again in the middle of a RPG game.

A good amount of time after that She experiments with a way of communicating with D0G without waking lil Eli Freeman, and it is mostly successful. Afterward, she compares notes with Adrian Shephard on the subject of inter-dimensional invasions.

And that leads to the tail end of this week, when she finally got to talk to Enzo Matrix on Guppy's recommendation and she tastes bacon for the first time thanks to Hannibal Lecter.

If I owe anyone tags bother me for a tag because I have been even more careless about threading than usual lately. :P

Javert threaded/finished slowtimes with:

Margolotta - who tries to encourage him to think.
Charles (with bonus headcrash!Iris) - who does likewise.
Mel - who he does not get on with, safe to say.
Autor - who is, horror of horrors, nice to him (oh, the humanity).
Ganymede - who is...I don't even know what this is. The closest to a friendly conversation he's managed thus far, perhaps?
Sonya - who unknowingly presented him with an opportunity, which he was only too happy to take; and,
Ratonhnhaké:ton - who unexpectedly makes him talk a bit, and gets renamed, and makes me flail because Javert is not such a dick to kids as I thought he'd be.

It was a bloody fun EP all 'round. Thanks to everyone who made it so! You give good thread, guys. <3

Ohhhh Javert. If there ever was a modern-day (or at least 19th-century) flagellant. <3

I get the feeling he will be disappointed once Connor begins his training to become a capital-A Assassin. Possibly moreso when Connor begins to bring in Wanted posters with his face on it.

And man, he is not going to be pleased at all . Not surprised either, but really not happy.

Working on slowtimes, but I GOT A NEW JOB. So, go me.
