Hung out with the same Milliways crew (Debi, Becca, & Ana) for the second weekend in a row. I'm not sure if that's a thing to brag about, but I've certainly not done that before, it's certainly indulgent, and it's certainly awesome and therapeutic. Previous weekend was to see The World's End with a Q&A with Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost; yesterday we attended a Gotham Girls roller derby match (my first and I loved it) between rivals Manhattan Mayhem and Brooklyn Bombshells. Brooklyn won in an exciting, brutal game.
And tomorrow I have a job interview! It's only in the sketchiest of sketch places by the waterfront, so if you don't hear back from me I've either been recruited into the mob or dumped into the river.
Oh and thanks to everyone who's distracted Tommy from drinking. Heart you all.
I survived the first of four weeks of project management class which starts at eight every morning, is very intense and challenging, and leaves me ded in the evening.
Hannibal Lecter administered medical help to Sunshine, who came in with three mostly dead vampires, and publicly showed himself to be a) competent and capable and b) almost suspiciously non-squeamish. I love the reaction tags, and also how Molly is very underwhelmed by a) Hannibal's condescending attitude and b) his sense of fashion.
This thread was SO VERY much fun. Oh my god, it's been a while since I played a thread full of that much completely open dislike and so much going for the conversational jugular. Whee!
Also finished, in the same post: Enjolras and Gavroche, getting along infinitely better! (Not that that's hard.) Gavroche did his level best to clarify Milliways for Enjolras more than confuse him, which is an uphill battle, poor kid.
Andrea came in and is making her own daikyū yumi, from scratch. Now I need to figure out a place for her to store it while the glue dries. Post still open; at least until it scrolls off the front page.
I also have things in the works for Hank McCoy and Jessica Drew. /mysterious fingers.
I love that gif, its just perfect. This week has been about tying up loose ends in terms of moving, there are still things to do but a few less than before. Also I'm in the process of finding a way to help out at my local library.
In Sameth's EP, he's got two interesting threads going on with YJ Robin and Roshaun.
William helped Oswin eat a pie she made and met Stiles as a teenager for a true Milliways' moment.
Charles had the tarot read to him by Joshua Donovan and I'm always impressed by how apt these in character readings end up being.
Work is starting to settle into a routine. (Oh gosh, I am a 9-5er productive member of society, and have been for over a month guys!)
But, I'm still trying to find my feet with fitting other stuff around that (seriously, where does time go in the evenings?) so I haven't been doing much RP. I'm home for the weekend, as it is a) a bank holiday, so 3 day weekend, and b) my birthday tomorrow (ack, 22 already, is it really a year since I went to Kenya?) so, spending time with family. Also, Alton Towers tomorrow. :D
Stiles started canon! Which means I get to start fixing thing that don't make sense in canon, starting with stuff like where is Stiles finding books like "The History of Lycanthropy" in Beacon Hills? (And how does he "stay up all night" researching after an after school lacrosse practice, then go to a party, still on Friday night? SHOW YOU MAKE NO SENSE. DAYS ONLY HAVE 24 HOURS.)
(And just days before that was the Teen Wolf finale, and there was Dylan O'Brien in a wet t-shirt and I'm still not really over it.)

But they are almost comically similar in their unbending attitudes, so I loved every damn second of it. :D

Will and Sherral met and they're getting along.
The rest of my threads are slows or OOMs so I can't share them yet.
