Helena, I'd like her to meet anyone from one of her books just for the delicious meta and possibly moments of 'I don't remember writing -that-' in her head.

and Valentine... I've always thought would be hilarious if Demosthenes (her version) came into Milliways. But that's just meta, folken.

ETA: And I also kinda wanna see Helena Wells encounter Andros or Naani or Cartesius, who are all characters in The Night Land, by William Hope Hodgson. Apparently there's a number of people out there who think Hodgson wrote The Night Land as something of a fan follow-up to HG Wells' The Time Machine, or at least some kind of a fan answer to it. It's rather a different take on the 'guy from the author's time encounters the UNBELIEVABLY far future'.
