Hey, guys!

I'm in the middle of writing something long, but I just wanted to let everyone know: Fantine is coming back to Milliways today.

She's been around, been on the fringes of everything since she first came in.

I'm going to cry uncle on previous threads at this time (I'm sooooo sorry. She just got tired of being weak in my head and shut off.) However! If you would like your character to have talked to her in the interim, please let me know here, and I'd be happy to handwave something.

Going forward from here, she's stronger, but still tentative.

I apologize for dropping things, guys. She's just so not as strong as other people in my brainspace.

They can always interact with somebody else present, because sometimes, three people do talk -- that's how I do it with my characters! Pitching Teja and Urq against each other has worked quite well, too, as you know...

Very true! I hadn't thought of that, but it could definitely work. Depending on their levels of animosity/angst at any one time.

During the Ramon-Urquhart-Teja murder plot (and afterwards) I used OOMs to have my charries talk to each other if things were important, and I had a certain list of things that needed to be mentioned, or to happen; but I always found it very helpful to have somebody else around as a witness and buffer; in later times, Teja used to accost Urquhart with Moist von Lipwig present, quite a often actually. They had a bit of a feud.
