When #YOLO became popular I was so happy that my adopted county was trending on social media sites.

Then I found out who Little Wayne was and I was very sad.


Let's ease ourselves into the weekend with a favorite of ours from innerbrat:

IC Shag Marry Cliff.

Post in with your characters. People tag you with three other characters (canon, in bar, historical w/e). Your character has to pick one to have a one night stand with, one to have and to hold, and the third one gets thrown off a cliff.

"I..." Rae pauses, looking at a loss. A long moment passes before she speaks again. "Mel and I haven't even talked about marriage, really, though my mother wishes we'd hurry up and give in to what she thinks is the inevitable. I think she just wants grandkids. Mel's already kind of disqualified for the 'shag' option, since a relationship is probably not a one-night stand any more after three years, but I wouldn't throw him over a cliff, either, so 'marry' would be the only option available there. And he's... steady. Steadying. We complement each other nicely."

"As for... um..." She may be struggling not to let her face flush. "Well, it's not exactly original, is it? Stories about vampires and sex are as ubiquitous as all the other stories about vampires. It's one of the first thing a teenager hears about, when you're just waking up to the world of carnal possibility. About the whole... well, body functions that'd be involuntary in humans being under voluntary control for a vampire." She pauses, fidgeting. "Like blood-flow. Y'know. But people who try to publish stories about that, or vids or whatever, they're met with a stiff... er... a hefty fine, and possible jailtime. Not that that keeps the books and films from getting made, though..."

She could ramble on the subject for pages ages. Oh right, the question. "Um... I mean, this sort of thing isn't really something that has crossed my mind, of course," she lies. "It'd be... completely wrong on so many levels."

"...But if I have to answer," and her blush says she does, "I'd... I'd have to say, that I'd shag Con. He and I are... I mean, we're already linked. Irreparably connected. He has saved my life so many times, and I've saved his as well. I trust him completely - I trust him, a vampire, utterly. He is... a terrible creature of darkness and violence, and has destroyed my worldview and my sense of self, but he and I are... yes." The last word is decisive, but her cheeks are tinged pink.

"But that'd leave...... the cliff. Um." Rae's face falls as she winces, feeling uncomfortable.

"I don't really like this game."
