DE: Two Sentences of Fury
How long until I run out of movie titles featuring the word "Two" to rip off? Anyway, the two sentence prompt last week was so much fun and popular, I'm running with it again, with a twist this time. Basic idea is to write at least two sentences (feel free to do more if the urge strikes) using the following prompt:
"I won't remember this, but they will."
If this doesn't spark anything, feel free to post in asking for prompts.
And if you are interested, I am totally cribbing this from the WriteWorld tumblr.

"If this works, I may not remember it, but they will and maybe they'll make things better," she replied.

"So I won't remember this conversation, though I am sure you will and try and remind me of it as well!"

It was hardly important that he'd spent the better part of his life avoiding the Spirits at all costs, a dangerous position to take when one makes his life on the waves of the Ocean.
No, the only thing of any consequence was the safety of his family.
To ensure that he'd pay any price, no matter how steep.
Or how personal.
"My life for theirs, do I have that right?"
"Your life, your memories, and your face, for their survival," Koh purred.
Bumi nodded and took a deep breath, before standing up to his full height, squaring his shoulders, and smiling.

I won't remember this, the character without a role realized, shock freezing his muddied brain, but they will.

She watches a surprising number of her classmates descend toward the deepest roots of the world tree and fishes out the deeply mutated T-Minus to check how close the end of this twist in the timeline is.
Then she wills her ray ray gun to her hand and squares off against the approaching mages.
"Oh, I hope this works."

She doesn't even remember what feast day she had made up halfway through her second jug of May Punch, but she bought free rounds for everyone.
Things... got rowdy. There was bar fight, but importantly there were several lost teeth. A stupid idea popped into her head. What if... what if in the morning there were toothbeast clones standing around? She had avoided the fight, so it was certain that when tomorrow rolled around that she would forget tonight's adventures. Hopefully today's as well. But the other patrons would wake up with hangovers and bruises and missing teeth. And there would be clones of those patrons made up entirely of teeth and fungal connective tissue. She won't remember, but they will.
She guffaws at her brilliant plan as she cast spells on plots of earth near the garden and plants the teeth she had collected.
[with apologies to Kat and Jo]
"Don't be ridiculous," Artemis says, squinting at the mirror and removing a stray bit of glitter from her cheek with the tip of a nail. "You remember everything."
"Let me clarify." Epimetheus opens his eyes momentarily, groans, and slaps his hand over them. "I refuse to remember this. There are some things a guy shouldn't witness, and his baby cousin in pasties is one of them. So it never happened. I don't remember it, ergo, it never happened."
Grinning, Artemis stands up in a shower of sparkles and feathers, and leans over to plant a red-painted kiss on Epimetheus' cheek. "You won't remember it," she says, "but they sure will!"
With that, she strides out towards the stage. The cheering of the crowd is clearly audible over the opening strains of the burlesque number. Epimetheus groans again and drags his hand down his face, the very picture of long-suffering.
"Whatever happened to the virgin goddess thing?" he demands of the dressing room's other occupant.
Coyote grins and pats him on the shoulder. "Be a little more open-minded. She can dance if she wants to."
"Can she leave her friends behind?"
"Don't push it. Now come on, we are missing the show."

"Yes Will. I'm not scheduled for duty until first dog watch." The tow-headed boy in the hammock nods thoughtfully.
"And you will tell me, won't you? If I make a fuss, or..." William hesitates, and Peter rushes in with a flood of words.
"Yes, yes, of course, but you shan't, he really is very fast, and, well... yes, of course, I will tell you. Either way." He lies convincingly, because even if William shouts loud enough to be heard up in the rigging, there's no possible way Peter is going to say a word.
Then Doctor Maturin came with the laudanum bottle, and there wasn't time for any more reassurances.
(And for all of mine, any more prompts would be awesome!)

"Time to get you back to the boss." Was pretty much the only warning he gave before scooping her up, ignoring her snap-snarl of pain.
"Odds are... I'm not going to remember this... tomorrow." Katya muses.
"Do not worry - I am sure Seymon will remind you if you do anything ridiculous." Bear rumbles in return, careful with his footing down the stairs.
"Maybe some of that... can be your job." He knows how wily and determined his partner can be, but Bear is still caught by surprise when she pulls herself up to kiss him, resoundingly, before falling back into the cradle of his arms.

A part of him wanted to run but the greater part keep fighting. He doubted there was going to be anything left of him but he was going to make damn sure they knew him and feared there were more like him on Earth.

"If this works, I won't remember this but mutants will."
(I would love prompts for any of mine.)

It's wearing a new seeming: still handsome and high-cheekboned and red-haired, but female this time. If Its hair were longer, Nita notes dully, too exhausted now for the thought to hurt, It would look a little like her mother.
"My wizardry for their lives? My answer's the same."
The Lone One laughs. "What, you mean ambivalence?"
"No."
"You know, it's funny." It shakes Its head. "It's so much less than what the others have asked of you. You've been willing to lay down your life -- well, allegedly you've been willing, although if you never follow through it gets a little hard to take you seriously. But you've said you'll lay down your life how many times now? But a price that would leave you and all these people you love alive, you reject out of hand."
"Alive, but not whole."
"You know you wouldn't know the difference," It says, almost gently.
Nita closes her eyes, thinking of her friends, depending on her to do the right thing. Or to do what's right. If there's even a distinction.
"I wouldn't remember," she murmurs, "but they would."
