I should likely add that Mulan seems to have come back (warnings for spoilers from the last OUaT episode) and is currently puzzling out a certain wizard nammed Alec. I'm having fun playing with fairy tale tropes and how much Mulan would know of them.
Then, Teja went to Guppy to compare notes and inform him about what Valjean told about Javert, and in the end, they draw a diagram.
Extra milliquote for the actual diagram which Charss actually drew!! Please not the fangs! Also, to Ganymede for the toaster.
In RL, I worked from home much of the week because the heating at the office is broken and it is COLD AS HELL, and today, I did a 5K -- the only one this year, as it turned out.-
I just saw it, and snerked at the screen. This is one of those things in Milliways that sort of get away and take on a life of their own, like Teja's cats.-
Heh, thanks. It's so nice when I get a chance to let him half-revert to his natural snark. Only spoiled somewhat, in this case, by also being a genuine offer.
He coolly considered killing a young!Hannibal, and then there was snogging. (I smell a sitcom.) [Warning: both threads feature cruelty to demon bunnies and discussions of vivisection ethics, but not in the linked portions.]
Then he told Rae a story framed in the terms of the Green Glass Village game. She kissed him on the cheek for it, bringing his total 'have-been-smooched-but-never-kissed-anyone' count up to seven.
Let's see, I've been very busy this week with a ten year old Charles in Milliways and then a few Moist threads over in the sandboxes. Gill and Quinn have pulled me into their love of Warehouse 13 everything. Since a couple of Charles' threads have already been mentioned, I'm going to hit my favorites.
Charles and Erik, because Erik mun is around, we have an OOM to post soon. I love how the age difference changes a lot for them. Nat and Charles who bond over tea. His thread with Valjean that was sweet and sad. The thread with little M where they clicked on being from the same era. All of the threads with Joshua but the last one is my favorite for how boyish they're being.
My RP this week has been mostly summarised by Maru above. I will link slowtimes-in-progress when they're done. Probably.
RL achievement unlocked: I matriculated into Oxford on Saturday. Which was quality, and meant getting into full penguin gear and wizard robes, and being spoken to in Latin. Awesome. :D
Fun fact: every 'welcome to Oxford' speech, be it from your college, or tutors, or the Vice-Chancellor of the University as a whole, runs along the same lines. 'We are very glad to have you here. We hope you make the most of it. We hope you have a fantastic time. And if you fuck up, you will know about it, and we will not be pleased'. Sometimes in Latin! It's great. Also, a bit scary. :D
I didn't get to do much RP this week. This is because this was the final week before my company changed ownership, and I had to do a bunch of the IT stuff related to the changeover. We're in good hands now and I'm happy about it, but I've been going moderately nuts the whole time.
Also this weekend was my office building's annual power shutdown for maintenance, so I spent most of Friday night safely powering down servers and storage arrays and desktops, then most of Sunday morning bringing things back up, making sure all the servers could see the external storage units, and generally testing stuff out to ensure all was well. It happened without any significant hitches ("Hi, tech support, the admin page for the storage array says it's degra- wait, never mind, I only plugged in one power supply, I'm good, sorry about that"), so there's that.
Also also I went to the New England Aquarium after that and spent some quality time watching the cephalopods. Mostly the cuttlefish and the chambered nautilus, as the octopus didn't want to come out and be seen and you do not argue with an octopus that wants to be left alone. But the Aquarium is always cool as far as I'm concerned, so I'm happy.
Oh my god, I love the nautilus. It's so prehistorically cool. I believe there's a fossilized shell in the Smithsonian that's the size of a tractor tire.

When she first was hit, she met Natasha (who distracted her from the pit of feels Jess was struck with) and Gavroche (who managed something similar but in a different way). Then she tried to get some sleep but was haunted by those memories Nat and Gavroche saved her from. Giving up on sleep, she headed downstairs to met a young Charles Xavier. The next day, she tried to spy out other kids to see how she should act but ended up meeting
Amascuta blond teen-aged girl and learning about chili cheese fries. She also spoke briefly with Twilight and not only resisted the urge to venom blast the cause of the age spell, she took pity on her and offered to help! See Carol, she has improved. Then of course there is Katie's posse of wayward girls (we're working on a better name) and their liberation of the sweets.

First, I de-aged Hannibal for the age spell plot, and:
Teja got involved even more deeply with the 1832 people:

Also, thank you for linking everything1 It totally saves me doing it - and in reality, probably wouldn't have got done if left to me anyway. *laziest*
And now I'm going to wtf all over your journal re: the commentaries. :D

And damn, if Milliways, with its shenanigans, wouldn't be the perfect venue.

Autor has been busy stretching Millitime as far as he can push it.
As far as Milliquotables, everything in the Grantaire thread tickled my fancy, but the Shephard-Nepeta-Kanaya thread was ridiculously cute.
"Hi," she whispers happily. "Did you know you're impawssible?"

Over in the sandboxes, Moist met Claire Donovan and the Warehouse, both catch him off guard.
I also applied for two jobs and finally got my security deposit back from Michigan.
