Zira's not in the Bar any more; you can take Planet of the Apes off the list. Also we got an app for Chuck Hansen last month, so we have in him in Pacific Rim.
Would it be possible to add Les Amis (especially Courfeyrac) for Les Mis, but with a note to please speak to Enjolras and Grantaire's players first, for purposes of hashing out who is using which canon?
:D Thinking about it, odds are good Les Amis would be book canon anyway, as apart from Marius, Enjolras and Grantaire (and Courfeyrac and Combeferre in the 2012 movie), they don't really have much personality in the musical-based versions.
Correction needed for the Assassin's Creed ad: since those characters still aren't showing up as reserved on the cast list, I'm taking them off the reserved list - please put them in the "want" part of the ad. Also, since I've heard nothing from anybody about apping Haytham, please put him in the "want" part of the ad, too.
Okay, making this official: I plan to app a Thénardier from Les Mis, either him or her, dependent on the condition that somebody else plays the other one. I've already talked to a few people, but the thing is the following: if somebody wants to app either Madame or Monsieur Thénardier, they can rely on me to bring the other -- unless they have yet another person who'd do that, in which case I'd be over here, cackling madly and threading the hell out of all my charries with them.
I have several ideas for matching journal names, and would gladly provide icons -- either from the 2012 musical movie, or from the 2000 French public TV miniseries. Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter are more fun and cracky, but Christian Clavier and Veronica Ferres have a certain something that I quite like. It really depends how we want to play them, just like the journal names -- and that would have to be determined in discussion with my prospective co-Thénardier.
Actually, my final impetus to kill of Urq was to make room on my roster for a Thénardier.
If you're going on a re-watching spree anyway, try getting the French TV version, there is a 3 hour version in English -- unless you know French? It's much closer to the Brick, and the Thénardiers are quite different, less cracky and more unmitigated evil. However, that version gets Gavroche (of all people!) completely wrong, so keep small soft things handy to throw at the screen.-
It'll be slightly less fraught with contention if you bring in mme, since Ep's relationship with her mom is ambiguous (outside of the headcanon I've given Katie that she was largely absent and Ep largely raised Gavroche). Her dad would be so fraught with conflicting feelings, because she was his favorite, then his Disobedient Child.

No no, Gavroche wants words with Monsieur. Can't do that if I play both.

Yaaay, an excuse to watch the movie a few dozen more times.

*flail* Fantine is going to have WORDS.
I can't do either of them, because Fantine, but WORDS I TELL YOU.

Re: Les Mis: the Thénardiers
Eponine will have Feelings. And an Attitude.
Also words but all of them will be rather angry and-or-filthy.
Re: Les Mis: the Thénardiers
That said, from the reactions here I do gauge that playing a Thénardier will be fun...
