Bing is giving you a look.

"Whiplashed Like All Fuck is my Devo Coverband," adds Bing unhelpfully from across the room.

"Given that I have no peace and quiet, here is better than listening to my coworkers!"

She would cross her arms defiantly, but -- typing.

"Bah, logic." The waving away? That's to get rid of the logic.

"Yeah, until you run into old code wherein whoever wrote it is terrible at commenting, and a misplaced letter breaks all of their layers that you have to build on," she snorts, still smiling. "Then it all falls apart like a Jenga game."

And Ladigi immediately thinks, Hugh Jackm--? ah, right, sideburns. Shnk!, as you do. Or, well, as she does.

"Congrats on that, too," she says, pleased with the Phoenix's happiness. "I hope he treats you well."

Blink blink blink.

"'Wrong side of the bed' might apply in this situation," a twenty-something woman dressed as Luigi declares. "Yes, indeed."

There's an archivist in a tawny business-casual suit, with curly brown hair and mildly leonine facepaint, pausing to peer at the screen as she passes their table.

"There," says a twenty-something woman dressed as Luigi, having just typed 'there'--and quite a few other words--into the comment box she claimed as her own (due to gentle prodding to tag-in).

That sentence is ridiculously huge, she thinks, and then types that up as well. She is sitting, the narration informs, on a couch.

"I have a fondness for the gross ones, just for sheer wtf-ery, but some of them are outright cute!" she says, sharing.

The cat that sits on Bing's foot seems to approve of this attitude.

"Ahh, I love the pumpkin cupcakes!" she says. "They seem so simple, but they're cleverly done. I like this one myself."

Bing, who is not used to feline affection, blinks and then slowly looks down at the cat. Her head tilts to one side in confusion.

She is also being considered as a napping spot by the very white cat at her feet.

The cat, of course, mirrors Bing's head-tilt.






"Cat got your tongue?" He'd not even been trying yet!

Which is an acceptable, mutual partnership; the white not'cat could keep her toes warm. She considers it in turn regarding the dispensation of scritches.

"Things like Candy Corn Marshmallows just... fill me with joy," Saph chuckles. "And sugar."

"There are cool savory and healthier Halloween treats too, like spider deviled eggs, and ghost bananas and clementine pumpkins."

Saph laughs.

"Don't mind me. Just wanted to see who was playing."

This Southerner doesn't much keep up with hockey. >_>

The cat deliberates, and then, on its own time, acknowledges that it sounds like a mutually agreeable arrangement. They have an accord.

With that, the cat leaps lightly up onto the couch, and pads over to settle beside her.

Ladigi raises her brows and saves those images to her 'Snacks' folder. "I wouldn't have thought of any of these," she says, and then grins. "And now I'm starving."

She nods, and slowly reaches over to rest her fingers against the back of his neck, starting the scratches there and traveling up to behind his ears.

"Mwahaha," Saph smiles, beatifically. "My evil plan to spread the hunger for Halloween snacks is working."

"Slightly to the left, if you would," suggests the cat now occupying half of her lap.

"It is an honor to have your brand of evil inflicted on the bar, Miss Saphyria," Ladigi grins over her cup of tea.
