Wednesday Shout-Outs!
Good evening, Milliways! With the Halloween holiday so close we've got so many great reads available for your consumption--and they even help with the post-Halloween candy high, which I know we'll all have by Friday. So here are some of the offerings this week has produced:
- The Winter Soldier's story continues. This OOM is fantastically written, and if you haven't read it or Natasha's OOM linked therein, go do it! They will not disappoint.
- Ray got his retirement post, and man is it a good one. I love the way it's explained, too.
- And last but not least, young Midshipman Blakeney returns! He's really the picture of health sans the arm. And the drugs. No, really.
So what have you been enjoying, Milliways? Share the love and shout-out one of your own favorites, and link us to your milliquotes too! C'mon, people, spread the joy.

Raph's reaction to the zombies and the aftermath.
Claudia's conversation with dead people as well as Joshua's and Red's. I always love what Jill and Quinn are up to.
Now share more, the Bar has been busy with after zombie stuff and the beginnings of Halloween.

I also loved Charles Xavier's OOM, and X checking up on Noriko post-zombie invasion.
And let's not forget Enzo bringing Red to Mainframe.

I really liked Bones telling Autor off in no uncertain terms!

Sorry about that.

(And just to check my short hand, if it's Guardian, it's safe to assume Supercomputer. If it civilian, Mainframe? I did remember not to say The Mainframe. =D)

Mainframe is the small town where Enzo is from. The Supercomputer is the enormous system where he now lives. Think Smallville and Metropolis.)

Gene as the harbinger of Urquhart's death is fantastic. Write, you are a tagging machine, and every one of them is quality.
And in the "oh my heart" department, we have Enzo's poignant Conversations With Deleted Sprites, Kanaya's pile of feels, and Asami's fantastic peek into her childhood.
And I have a quote from Autor and Urquhart's first thread, presented without commentary:
