During Halloween, Hannibal ran into Jean Valjean again, and their conversation, despite more or less silly costumes, turned out to be quite interesting. Warning for misleading spoilers about Hannibal's canon/Hannibal being an unmitigated fucker (if you do know his canon), which is so bad in this case that for once I feel impelled to especially mention it.

In the Fourth Wall Breakdown DE, Hannibal answered candid interview questions from Write in an only slightly misleading way and made music with Wingy.

Other than that, I didn't do much online as I was juggling dragon eggs at work (at least it felt like it), and then a visitor from Atlanta arrived. Who wanted to watch 10,000 BC. Which is still The Most Awful Movie ever. **shudders**

So Stiles had kind of a big week. He came straight from Scott's first full moon as a werewolf to have a chat with his dead mother. I've been told I'm fired for prompting feelings. Oops. Comic relief character, y'all. Nothing to see here.

After sleeping on that, he had some Halloween fun, including accidentally convincing Commander Bumi that he used to stalk Avatar Aang. (Still in progress and cracking me up.)

And I bullied Heather into finally apping Lurker McBunnyTeeth The Prettiest Alpha Derek Hale. \o/

I've had a weird week but ended up doing a lot of really fun RP. I love Halloween. My big life thing was I got myself to an allergist and I'm already feelings better.

I wrote two librarian blog posts, Why would you read that?-preference vs quality and Halloween-looking sideways.

At the start of the week, Moist found himself with Franz after Urquhart's death. Then played poker with Joshua and Helena. When Halloween struck, he got loud and had fun with an EP, teased Moriarty and Autor, and met Waco Jim.

Sameth recovered from a bad dream, made a fool of himself talking to Oswin and had an interesting talk with Wooly.

Charles had a very busy week starting by talking to Red, then I finally posted two OOMs, his Halloween began with an EP, had another amazing thread with Jean Valjean.

Charles and Moist also both went to the Warehouse party for various fun. Now to just get myself back into applying for more jobs and next week is the local film festival so that will be a fun way to keep busy.

Shephard adopted a couple of trolls. One last week, as part of fallout from the age spell, and one the other night.

One day he is going to have to introduce himself to somebody Nordic or Germanic or Anglo-Saxon or something and the name he's gonna give will be Shephard Trollfather or something to that effect, I just know it.

The Warehouse had a party this week, which I promise I'll get back to, I swear. Joshua talked to a couple dead people, and Helena got her old partner back, who she thought she'd killed. (I might come back and link to these things, but I have a headache at the moment, yo.)

I had an absolutely shitty Thursday night into Saturday for who knows what reasons.

... and then this morning, my parents invited minkhollow and I to Thanksgiving dinner. This is a BIG THING, guys.

Red had a rather one-sided conversation with her mother, and caught up with Charles.

Claudia got a pep talk from a former Caretaker, had some family feels with Joshua after his conversation with their dad(the part of Peter Donovan was played by me), and has been bopping around the Warehouse party.

Woolly IS IN THE BUILDING. He also went to the Warehouse party, and after enjoying the first Friday evening he's had to himself in years, attempted to figure out his budget, which lasted all of five minutes until Joshua told him he's covered. WOOLLY IS THE GREATEST YOU GUYS.

As Quinn noted, Thursday and Friday were particularly hellish. But we survived. And then her parents invited me to Thanksgiving dinner, which merits every O_O face in the book.

Last night, I wrote a thing, inspired by the last OOM we needed Regent Janeway for. Bring tissues, because when I say I wrote a thing I mean 'and it took me half an hour to write that much because I was SOBBING ALL THE WAY THROUGH.'

Finished slowtime: Gaeta and Javert not only manage to avoid a massive slanging match (this time), they actually talk.

I was so not expecting that, but it was brilliant fun. :D

I have no links cause I really shouldn't be on the laptop right now but Jess had a couple threads as a pony and I brought in Brimstone, who is learning the Bar's ropes from Gavroche and chatting with Hannibal.

Andrea also had a conversation with her dead mother for CWDP.

I also signed up for Netflix streaming and have finally watched both Night Watch and Day Watch. Both were excellent for different reasons and an interesting spin on the canon. I'm sticking with book canon but I think I will be picking up a thing or two from the movies for my Anton.

I kind of liked the tool belts and am playing with the idea of them.

The tool-belts strike me as a very Anton thing to do, especially as a lower-lever mage. He likes his things more than a few of the other Watchmen.

Also, I love how they did the body-switch scene. The acting in that is awesome.

Actually, scenes. Switching back was hilarious. Now I need to go watch Day Watch.

All of that! I loved both the switching scenes and the Svetla shower scene was so cheesy, I couldn't help laughing. I like how they did Anton handling the switch also. And good to know he's a hockey fan.

The Yegor story hit me in my fatherhood feels and I loved the visuals of the Gloom. The addition of the mosquitoes was brilliant.

And don't get me started on his early 90s haircut. Tigger Cub had to have mocked him for that for years.
