In the Bar, I got to give you all a drunk Cyborg, inspired by canon. All those people who think Teen Titans Go! is too silly clearly didn't pay attention to how silly the first series got.
In real life, I worked an insane amount of hours to launch an Art Spiegelman retrospective. In person, he is a witty and rather charming grump, with an ever-present electronic cigarette. I also got to meet Jeff Smith at one of the openings and tell him how much I love RASL (as well as Bone). Also met Chris Ware and Chip Kidd. So a pretty cool week at the office.
.... So, while wandering around Tumblr today, I found this. So of course, my brain decides that if Katya got really drunk, she'd totally dance around the bar singing that.
...
And then it goes and wanders off muttering about how you know, the ages aren't that far off and she was kept far away for the 'real world' during training - she's totally Anastasia Nikolaevna and the lost princess had lived in Moscow all this time. Thanks brain. Thanks so much. Go away now.
Hannibal Lecter got balls'ed, upon which he gets a blanket (and his iPad not!stolen) from Autor, and then carried upstairs to his office (sporting relevant prints for the occasion) by Jean Valjean, and Teja is talking to Myth!Loki again, trying to apologise.
Earlier this week, Teja talked to Javert again, about work in the Security office and the complex ethics of Milliways. Javert is abrasive and eyeroll-inducing as ever, and can hardly believe when Teja states that company seems to enjoy him.
Bonus Milliquote: Jean Valjean on sniffing Hannibal's empty glass of Atlantean, here: And then his head rears backwards from the scent of such strong alcohol. It feels like his nasal hair has been burnt away.
Quotable from the Javert thread, re: pirates: 'The fact they got away at all is not an ideal situation.'
"It was only our job to engage with the pirates for as long as they posed a direct threat. Seeing to our cargo was paramount. Of course they pressed on once they got clear."
That gif is awesome. I survived the Rehoboth Film Festival and having the house full of many guests. People that I happen to enjoy but it does get tiring at points. I didn't do that much RP due to the festival but its been a good and busy week.
Javert finished a slowtime with the Master of Ceremonies which...I don't know wtf was going on there. But it was fun! There's a few more in that EP still in-progress, or perhaps faded, idk.

RB: SAVE ME FROM THE SENIOR CITIZEN SOAP OPERA
RB: And how was your morning? Everyone present and accounted for?
Woolly, meanwhile, has proven to be an unexpected fount of wisdom. I LOVE THIS BOY, YOU GUYS.
Things he has done: soothed Claudia's Caretaker worries, had a philosophical conversation with Javert, met Gavroche and Valentine, spotted Artifact activity for what it is and talked to Joshua about it, as well as about Joshua's research. WOOLLY HOW ARE YOU THE GREATEST. HOW.
