I've been rather busy this week. Work and school have gotten a bit pooey. Didn't have time for much, but I did begin a thread between Garyn and Jean Valjean. (Highlight: "You've lived long enough to have regrets, I'm sure." He said, to Jean Valjean. Ain't dramatic irony the greatest?)
Dr. Hannibal Lecter had an OOM worrying aboutboth Abigail and Will with Alana Bloom, the latter written spot-on by Cass. Also, he's now in the middle of the episode "Buffet Froid" (the one with the 'monster' under the bed). Later in the week, even Hannibal, the most collected and self-controlled of cannibals, lost it in amusement and amazement at the thought of Inspector Javert giving Jean Valjean a glass of Nutella. So far, he's taken all the bizarre in his stride, but Javert, Valjean, and Nutella? Does not compute, so, bzuh. The weirdness of Milliways has finally caught up with him.
Lady Margolotta is now beyond "Raising Steam" as I keep her current anyway, so spoiler warnings might apply for a bit until everybody who means to read it, has. Then, she talked to Valjean and experimented on said Nutella with him. Being who she is, Margolotta is always interested in anything that can be used as a nice, reformed cup of cocoa. Oh, and drunken Russian ladies singing cute songs about obsessive-compulsive vampires.
My biggest news for this week is that I'm testing out a new headvoice, Ivan Vorpatril in PFSB and MM. So far he and Wan are getting along very well, warning for Korra spoilers. Regina reminded him of home and Bryce has made me him curious. Please tag him as I think he might be staying around and I know I've been loud about him but he's loud. The Vorkosigan books are some of my favorites and he's always been one that I adore reading but didn't feel I could play until recently.
Moist and Natasha got along very well, its nice to have another person that plays with appearances that gets him.
Charles caught up with Ellen trying to give her relationship advice.
Sameth met Simon Illyan who prompted me to try out Ivan.
William talked with Valjean, I love their friendship, its so complicated. Then Katya and Natasha renamed him Andrey and Claudia confused him.
I didn't really get very much RP done- a post or two- but that was because I was trying to push through and finish Assassin's Creed IV: Now It's Pirates, You Like Pirates, Don't You? in time for the next app period. Managed to finish the game yesterday, so I'll be apping the protagonist, Edward Kenway, come December.
(I plan on using screenshots from the game for his icons but if I ever have to fall back to a PB I'm going with Charlie Hunnam in stubble mode or beard mode, depending on where he is in canon.)
Ohhh, you don't have him yet? I can hold off on EPing, then. Unless the bit with his PB was a joke, a couple days ago, /bad at jokes! In which case let me know.
He really does. It's kind of spooky. I'd put up more screenshots of him but a lot of the screenshots have part of his face obstructed or else have too much guyliner (which I think the game programmers mostly put in to make it easier to see people's eyes, since pretty much all the white guys in the game except maybe the governor of Havana seem to have it).
I did some things here and there, but most of my week was taken up by the HEADACHES OF DOOM that I ended up going to the hospital for. Mostly because sharp pains in one part of my head connected with slurring speech and disorentation is probably not a very good thing. I'm ok, though, but I need a follow-up appointment.
I feel like I should keep apologising for my flakiness. Rrrrgh.
