That would require him having to cut his hair every day. That would be somewhat tiring, would it not?

Well, no, because he was mortal when he got it cut. It'd grow back if he were still a fully-fledged vamp when it happened. But as he was mortal at the time, but still retained vampiric powers, it grew back quicker than a mortal's but not as suddenly as a vampire's.

It's a moot-point anyway :P He's a vamp again.
