Like This!
Soon the whole of Milliways is permeated with the scent of apples cooking; twenty minutes later, out pops Pinkie, laden with warm, freshly-baked pies. There's wayyy too much for her to eat all by herself (she swears); in fact, she might have made some extras for sharing.
Totally botherable.
Or This!
This is the influence of Misty Day - witch, necromancer, healer and Stevie Nicks worshipper. She's gifted with the well-earned power of eternal life - and for somebody who's spent years alone in a swamp she's pretty well-adjusted. For somebody who just might be immortal, she's something of a sylph right now - but she's just trying to feel out this place's vibes. If they're bad she's history. But if they're good she might hang around.
Especially if the cake and coffee tastes as good as they smell.
[OOC: And have a Misty Day from American Horror Story: Coven, taken from around episode 6.]
far out, man.
She doesn't notice it at first. But - it's there. And that's just weird.
Mia looks up from her sketchpad and gives the bar a quick look-around from her seat. She's curious.
It looks like she's been sitting there a while. The ash tray is filled with squashed out cigarette butts, there's a pile of crumpled sketch rejects, and - yes - there's also an empty glass or two.
ttly!
She can, however, sneak up on the unsuspecting without them noticing her.
And now Misty will study Mia's sketching with curiosity.

Mia finds herself humming along, even as the music tapers off. Because it's not really there is it...? Who knows? Or - more importantly - who cares? She feels better, more at ease than before.
Her pencil taps at the edge up the sketchpad. Once, twice. Then she's back to work, unaware she's being watched. It's just observations today. The crumpled up pages are something a bit more fantastical.
no subject
Misty's honestly not being a creeper; she just hasn't ever been up close to an artist at work before today. She'll go on watching for a minute or two, just to see what the sketch shapes up to be.
no subject
Mia hardly calls herself an artist. She's still rusty, in her own opinion, even though she makes time every day to sketch. One of these days she'll buy new charcoals or pastels, some other things to work with...
It's nothing exciting, just a pencil rendition of the mess she's made of her booth's table. Every crushed cigarette, every crease of crumpled paper, every light and shadow.
no subject
She finally speaks up.
"How long have you been drawing?"
no subject
"Hm?"
Oh - wow. Hello, new person. You're sitting a bit close there.
Mia tries to keep her cool.
"Uh - since I could pick up a crayon, pretty much. I don't think the scribbles started counting until I was four or five."

Unless you mock Stevie. Mock Stevie and you walk.
"It looks like you've been doing it for way longer, man." She tilts her head. "I like the way you caught the way the spit shines on the cigarette butts."
no subject
Sitting up at her table, she turns her sketchbook right-side up and gives her work a once-over. "Thank you. It's alright, I guess. Just random still-lifes. They keep you sharp."

Katrina Crane, from 'Sleepy Hollow'
She glides through the room as if she'd expected to come here.

She forgets all dignity for a moment and meets him halfway, hair and dress flying.

"Katrina."
He wraps his arms around her and doesn't let go, face buried in her hair.

"Finally, this is not a vision," she murmurs against his shoulder.
no subject
"No, my love." He pulls back just far enough to look at her. "This is real. Though I don't understand... how did you get away?"
no subject
no subject
"Not for too long", he agrees reluctantly, "lest he come after you. But surely, a moment..."

no subject
"And will be again, one day." He tips her head up gently and kisses her, uncaring of anyone else in the room.

As he walks in, he unfastens the collar of his dress greens and unbuttons his military coat before stopping as this isn't his apartment.
It looks to be a bar but he's not sure what one's doing in here so he slowly heads to the counter looking for someone to ask and Miles.
Potential spoilers for WTNV episode 36 ahead. You have been warned.
Once she's caught her breath, she looks around warily, holding the bookbag close to her body.
"This isn't the elementary school."
It's not exactly a question.
