(no subject)

Tea'mun and I were talking, joking, and so on. There was great fun on thinking up different "last lines", ie, quotes from movies, TV shows, and even songs, right when someone's dying.

((Tea's death throws upon the adding of sugar might have had something to do with it.))

Any of you like to help add to the list?

"Rosebud..."

"Daisy.. daisy..."

"Another one bites the dust."

"A tea like me will never die!"

"I AM Tea!"

Are what we have so far. I thoroughly trust in the geekiness that are Milliways RPers to know much, much more. *grin*

It's surprising how few people have heard of it, really.

"Personally, I kind of want to slay the dragon..."

Angel's last line. Given the circumstances I'd pretty much bet it's the last thing he said before he died...

"...okay, you take the ten thousand on the left..."

Charles Gunn, same scene.

And he definately died :(

*sobs along with and adds some more final words...*

Darla: "This child was the one good thing we ever did together... You make sure to tell him that..."

Cordy: "That you have to get... Oh and you're welcome."

Fred: "I'm not scared. I'm not scared. I'm not scared. Please Wesley why can't I stay?"

Doyle: "Now I guess we'll never know... If this is a face you could learn to love." (Last words before he dies)

Doyle:"If you need help. Then look no further. Angel Investigations is the best! Our rats are low... It says 'rats'. - Our rates are low, but our standards are high. When the chips are down, and you're at the end of your rope you need someone that you can count on. And that's what you'll find here - someone that will go all the way, no matter what. So don't lose hope. Come on over to our offices and you'll see that there's still heroes in this world. Is that it? Am I done?" (Final words shown on video.)

Can you tell I watch more Angel than is strictly good for me?

[identity profile] fragrant-tuber.livejournal.com 2004-11-25 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd thought Angel's last words were "Let's go to work." Hrm. Need to watch that ep again, I think. I can't quite remember. I do know that practically that entire final episode killed me. Gunn and Illyria's final exchange, and OMG Wesley... and Lorne's was perfect. Not that I'm biased or anything. ;)

Gunn: OK. You take the 30,000 on the left...
Illyria: You're fading. You'll last ten minutes at best.
Gunn: Then let's make them memorable. (WAH!)

Wesley: I love you. (to Illyria posing as Fred -- double WAH!)

Lorne: Good night, folks.

For any other Angel freaks who might not have seen this, there's a fantastic collection of 'Angel last words' icons... 27 different characters have their last words on the show put into icon form. The collection is great, and definitely wibble-inducing. Pimp pimp pimp. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/crackers4jenn/90615.html)

[identity profile] fragrant-tuber.livejournal.com 2004-11-25 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
And yeah, so Lorne's last words likely weren't technical last words. He most likely survived. They were just his last words on the show. But dammit, I like those last words on the show, and he's my character. ;)

Possibly they where but I've only seen the episode once and I was crying so hard by the time it finished that I only heard about every other line ;)

Oh yes... Gunns final exchange with Illyria (Whom I love as a charcter but hate because it meant the end of Fred who I loved even more!) was fantastic. It's a reference to one of the eps in Pylia - can't exactly remember which one- when he says 'You take the fifty on the left, I'll take the fifty on the right' so there was extra wibbles induced because *sobs* so many memories!

BTW: *SQUEEE!* I love Lorn! You rock! *Plots to RP with the green guy soon*

"...you were right ... you were right about me. tell your sister ... you were riiight."

"...I have been, and ever shall be ... your friend. Live long ... and prosper."

"Fly, you fools!" (Technically last words.)

Batya, I love you forever and ever and ever. Flash-mun will just have to learn to share.

Well, he's already resigned to Becca being the Other Woman, so I figure he'll deal.

Not Actually Last Words, but would've been funny:

Grand Moff Tarkin: "Evacuate? In our moment of triumph? I hardly think --" BOOM.
