Anyone up for IMDb flu after Christmas?



ETA: Sweet response, people! I found a couple of relevant posts from the last time it was in-bar: it occurs to me that we need a Patient Zero, and my pups are not well-suited to it. Does anyone have a feasible candidate?

I was thinking the first week of January, or thereabouts. General preferences? It usually runs for a week or two IIRC, so people have the choice of when to get involved. It's pretty free-form, and no one has to play if they don't want to, of course. 

ETA II: Apparently there's already plot at the start of January? So. FEBRUARY. Start of. The first is even a weekend. y/y? :D?

I'm sure someone will explain better - I've never participated, only been an onlooker when it's hit before (hence wanting to have a go) - but basically, your pup gets to be one of the other people their PB has played in their careers.

I will happily glee over everyone else's. Joshua... is no one interesting. Helena will Kempo me in my sleep if I turn her into the person from Defiance, I don't know if I have the balls to turn Valentine into a vampire.... and I'm changing Fantine's PB soon, so yeah. I'm interested in inflicting this on Thurlow (their unique position in having their cosplayer mun for a PB would be either incredibly fun or incredibly self-indulgent, possibly both) but I haven't managed to get myself to actually post for, er, most of the year. Put me down as a 'maybe' or an 'if scheduling allows', perhaps; I may be able to break that streak but I don't want to make any promises.

Well, this plot may not be 'til the beginning of February now, as apparently there's already plot scheduled for the start of Jan. :D?

...Well, we are talking about a disease here. It could always kick off mid-January and still be bopping around throughout February as people have time to chuck characters into it.
Debating whether I can/will this time around. Natalie Dormer's been in a bit more since I first had Cata come down with it, and it might be fun to have Claud think she's a Wonder Twin...

You speak mucho sense! Diseases do linger, and even go around in circles sometimes. So, cool! I'll probably not sort anything too definite until much closer to Christmas - or maybe after, if it'll be a later start - but I thought I'd chuck the initial idea out there now. There's plenty of time to decide re: involvement.

Hurrah! And, no one concrete. Two offered before you, and one after, but if this isn't going to run for another month there's plenty of time to work that out. I'll make a concrete post closer to Christmas. This one was more an off-the-cuff sounding-out of peeps.

Swweeeet. There's been a few offers of being patient zero, but we can all work that out closer to the time. As long as one or more people are up for it so the thing can actually go ahead! I'll put up an official post on it all closer to Christmas, and get an actual Zero sorted then. :D
