Daily Entertainment: Travel Edition!
Good Morning, Milliways!
It's a terrible day here in the wilds of Connecticut, so I give you today's DE:
Travel! Is your character well-travelled? If so, where have they been? If not, would they like to be? What's preventing them, or do they just not care?

Charles: He grew up in a segment of society that traveled a lot and his mother was English, which created excuses. I think growing up that trips to England and Europe were normal and then he ended up going to Oxford, so he's comfortable seeing the world. He loves travel and while he hasn't done a lot of Milliways' travel, he'd like to. For him, travel fits in with his way of viewing the world and how important it is to try and understand what's important in different places.
Sameth is well traveled for the Old Kingdom where many people don't move around that much but he's seen most of the kingdom. Also he's been to Ancelstierre and spent time in different areas, all of this is due to him being prince. Travel is something he enjoys at times, in canon he mentions how much he likes riding through the Old Kingdom with his father and their guards and I can see him and Nick having adventures traveling around during school.
William, I'm not as sure of. Somewhere in canon, Dan mentions that he served with a Massachusetts' regiment and the Evans' family clearly moved west. Just by doing that, William has seen a lot of the US but this is also an era when more people were starting to see more of the country due to the War and the railroad. I think travel's mixed for him, he'd rather go by horse as its quieter and cleaner than traveling by rail. He has seen a number of Milliways' worlds, most of them when going to help and he would like to see more. He knows he hasn't seen much of the world.
Moist is well traveled for the Disc, because he grew up in Uberwald and has seen most of the major cities of the Sto Plains plus Genua. He has a definite wanderlust which fits in well with his work as a con man where staying in one place doesn't make sense. So far he hasn't been to any other worlds but he does keep angling at Joshua and Claudia to visit their world, he can cheer him on at the Nobel Prize ceremony or something.
Jane isn't as well traveled as she'd like to be, her family can afford some trips so she's seen a good deal of England. Just in canon, she goes to Plymouth and London but wants to see more of the world. From Milliways, she's gone visiting with Alice Cullen which she really enjoyed and would like more trips.
Demeter has been around a long time and travel is what keeps her sane while Kore is away because staying in their shared home depresses her. She has walked most of Europe, some of North Africa but tends to stay around the Med where there's a better chance of her being welcomed. She's done a few trips from Milliways but its not something she pursues, she'd rather hear people talk about their homes.
Tumnus is well traveled for a Narnian due to being connected to the Pevensies and their advisor. Before he met Lucy, I don't think he'd seen much of the world beyond the forest and his home as it wasn't safe to travel. He's yet to do any Milliways' travel.
The Pirate King adores travel, that's why he's a pirate, it gives him an excuse to go all over the world.
