ways_back_room | Possible mini-hiatus

Thanks to everyone who tagged into Sunshine's happy hour post tonight! You all are glorious, beautiful people. <333 The post is still open for new threads, but I wanted to post a heads-up tonight, letting those I'm threading with know that I might not get to tag back for quite a while, depending on circumstances.

Ideally, I'll tag back tomorrow, but the weather people are predicting a massive ice storm tonight and all day Friday. I've already gotten a call from my power company saying they're expecting widespread outages, up to five or six days in some areas. If my power goes out, I won't have access to the internet.

So. We'll see what happens! My water-heater and my stove are both gas, so I can have hot showers and cook food, and I've got more candles than a rational person should have, more blankets than I can actually carry the weight of at one time, a fully-charged phone, a fully-charged kindle, and a fully-charged NintendoDS, a blanket I'm in the middle of crocheting, a couple of christmas presents I'm still knitting on, and plenty of filtered water, so I'm set.

If I'm not around tomorrow afternoon (or potentially a few days after that, too), blame winter. *HUGS EVERYONE*

I am literally about to pass out from exhaustion - driving in this icy mess is an exercise in frustration and fear that I'm not looking forward to trying again - but I hope to see you around!
